    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

WHEN THE DARKNESS COMES70.49.13.16Posted On May 01, 2017 at 11:10 AM by REGAN IZUMI

when the darkness comes, be afraid of me

Regan doesn't normally lose her temper. She is usually on a level where she does what she wants when she wants. So there is nothing to 'lose it' over. This, this however, was a different story. This lion had done 'something' to HER Viking and she didn't know what to do about it. The better half of her wants to kill him and be done with it. With the doppelganger out of the way, finding the real one would be much easier. There is a small voice though that asks better of her. That gives her more brutal mind some prospective. Logically she knows there are such things as brothers who look alike. Twins even. But for some reason the more primal part of her mind is doing its best to erase the rational. She wants this one dead. End of.

She stalks closer and watches as the massive lion rises to his feet to meet her. They are eye to eye. An interesting situation. Regan is used to being the largest predator around. It doesn't give her any pause, she can sense that like his 'other' self, this one is weaker than her too. For now, anyway. Moving even closer until they are nose to nose as well. Inhaling, the girl allows his scent to run along the scent organ in her mouth as she grimaces at the similar and yet different tang to his scent. This time she knows he is not her Viking. The question remained however,
who was he then? And had he done anything to her Viking?

Regan ignores him this time when his teasing comment slides into her mind and if she could roll her eyes she would have. So, she does so mentally. Regan wasn't wholly convinced this version of Viking didn't have some brain damage or such.
He seemed slow on the uptake anyway. "He looks exactly like you. Smells almost exactly like you." She pauses, her amethyst gaze traveling the muscled length of his frame. "Though I think he's smarter. You seem slow." She gives a tiger's version of a smile. Two could play at his game. Only when push came to shove, Regan would do it better. The tigress prowls the length of his body and occasionally brushes her skin to his. "If you're not him, as I gather you're not...who are you then?"

She speaking in something akin to riddles, but in her damaged mind, it all makes perfect sense. So come on stranger, you better get on her level.

"Thinks like this."
