    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Although the night had started with Anna-Marie quite bored and irritated, having found some heading cooled her slightly. The familiar playground always comforted the girl. She had settled down and began to focus on practicing with this new ability. The shadows along the edge of the trees thickened and churned as if becoming water. It was interesting indeed how it sprang to life and attempted to take form.

Her attention had been so sealed on that darkness that she hadn’t noticed a stranger enter the playground. It wasn’t until the woman had stepped closer that her ears caught the sound of shoes on the pavement. Anna ceased her play, stilling her body in wait as she listened to see where this stranger strode. When the individual came no closer it was the feminine question that caused the child vampire’s lips to curl into a wicked smirk.

Anna twisted her upper body about to look at the woman, small twin peak fangs flashing in the early moon light. “Dead.” Could this be her new plaything for the night? A unsuspecting human who stumbled across her unfortunate end. But...no.. One whiff of the breeze told Anna that the woman standing there was a vampire. Yet…

Curiosity colored the child’s features as she eyed her. “You’re like me.” A vampire. But there was an odd swell to the woman’s abdominal area that usually signaled pregnancy. Now even the little vampire knew that was impossible. Perhaps she had been changed when pregnant and was now forever frozen in that state? Anna had never pondered on the subject before.

Slowly she stood up in the sand and brushed the particles from her dress as she watched this strange vampire carefully. “Do you like to play?” Well, she supposed even though the woman wasn’t a human she could torment she may very well find a playmate in it anyways. So few knew how to play her games right.
