    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

All was right within her life, which was quite a rare thing to ever occur. Raven could not recall another time when she was this content and happy. Things had greatly improved within the Ark. Now that Tetradore all was right within her pack’s world. No longer did Raven have to keep a sharp eye at all times upon her mate, to keep him from going off on a stranger or a staff member. His turbulent moods could be absolutely violent. As Alpha he was in charge and although he didn’t show it or talk about it, Raven could see that her spotted companion was stressed. She did everything she possibly could to ensure that he was calm and he was content. Many times she had to soothe him, keep him entertained, ensure he was calm. That took a lot of her time and energy. Top it all off she was responsible for making sure the business remained not only floating, but profitable! Even though Jackal was helping her with the staff, even he knew the lupine was having difficulties trying to balance everything and appease her mate. Now that Tetradore was here she could have a break, all the responsibility upon her shoulders were lifted, slightly.

Tonight the peculiar colored she-wolf was roaming through the unclaimed portion of the woods. She was well aware that there was a section that belonged to the quiet lion and Frost and she made sure she wasn’t near either territory. Grey-paws barely left prints in the dirt below as she happily ran, stretching her limbs, allowing herself this moment of freedom. She was not running away from anyone or anything. She was simply enjoying the feeling of her limbs snapping, her heartbeat racing, the wind tearing through her thick dark fur, while he nose was assaulted by various strange scents. Her sub-species was built to endure a long run, she did not need to slow or stop for any felines to keep up with her. But the she-wolf could not run forever, she had to stop. Eventually she would find herself coming up along a river. Slowing down to a walk she came up against the water source, grateful to have a drink. Bending her dial down she happily lapped up the water taking in her fill underneath the moonlight. As soon as she had her fill she headed over towards a tree that stood near the creek, the lupine happily throwing herself to the ground, allowing herself to rest before she went out once again.
