    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Surprise flickers in Andras’s hazel eyes as the girl merely just stands there as he swoops in and lands in front of her, his massive frame towering over her. He could taste her scent fear as it wafts off her, though his eyes narrow as he notes she doesn’t seem to be afraid of him, merely at the situation. Well, that was new. He fully expected the human woman to turn and run in terror, yet, here he was standing before her, so he picks that fleck of dust off his shirt and snatched her camera away.

There was perhaps a moment of hesitation when the girl practically begs him to not destroy the camera but the Fae knew it had to be done. So, his deft fingers slip that card out, snapping the piece of plastic and crushing the camera in his hand as if it were nothing. Shoving it back to the human girl, his eyes dance across her features and the faerie is taken aback to find her so very close to tears. For a moment, he’s at a lost for words but he allows that mask of calm to remain. As the blonde woman inspects the camera in obvious distress, he takes those short seconds to study her intensely.

She truly was nothing more than a human who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, Andras even felt a little bad for her though he wouldn’t admit it. As her voice cracks, he almost takes a step back at the devastation that is clearly etched into her face; he had caused that. Andras could feel the guilt floating in the back of his mind, yet he shoves it away, it was better this way. If she thought of him as a monster it would make her think twice about strolling into the woods alone at night and with a camera.

She had perhaps encountered one of the only supernatural that wouldn’t have killed her the moment that shutter went off. The woman was far luckier that she had met him rather than a vampire or an out of control were-creature. Perhaps if he had thought it through he might not have destroyed her camera, yet his self preservation overrode any reasoning, he couldn’t even give it a chance of the photo of him surfacing, alerting his enemies wherever they were at in this world. The creation of the world-wide web tended to not be his friend, he very well couldn’t have a photo of him with his wings out.

Ruffling his wings together silently, he merely blinks at the apology that rolls off her tongue in a stammer. He wanted to ask her why she was apologizing, she hadn’t really done anything wrong, he was just an ass and protecting himself. Instead, he arches a brow at her, a lazy smile slowly stretching across his lips, “For a human you’re either brave or incredibly stupid wandering around the forest at night,” he states bluntly, his eyes sparkling dangerously with amusement. “Didn’t your parents teach you that there were dangerous people that prowled through Sacrosanct at night?” He purrs, his voice dropping an octave, as if he were taking a lover to bed and whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

“You’re lucky it was only your camera that had been destroyed,” he shrugs casually. Andras suddenly saw the shift in the woman’s eyes, that fire that had begun to smolder behind those blue irises. His eyes widen in delight, albeit very slightly. The human girl had spunk and he found that he rather liked it. “Why are you out here at this hour?” He asks her, his tone one of boredom though there is interest buried deep in his eyes.
