    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

death incarnate & night triumphant

As that sun begins to peek over the trees, the light filtering into the clearing, Andras shifts his massive wings. He has to bite back a groan of appreciation as the weak warmth caresses those sensitive appendages. When was the last time those dark wings had seen the light of day? It had been far too long. Not allowing his emotions to rise to the surface as that glee bubbles in the pit of his stomach, he instead focuses his eyes on the woman before him. He could see the confusion that so etched its way into her features but the man doesn’t deign to answer. He was rather intrigued to see if she voiced her questions that so prowled through her thoughts.

When she doesn’t, Andras merely gives her a devilish smirk. As his rhetorical question falls from his lips, he’s infinitely amused as she isn’t entirely sure as to what he is. Fair enough. It wouldn’t take long for the woman to classify him as a monster, or his favorite, the Devil’s spawn. He enjoyed that one immensely. Someone had gone as far as to call him Satan himself; the faerie had learned in his lengthy life to take them as compliments.

Simpering at her, his hazel eyes lock with her pretty blues, determined to have her look at him, “And what sort of being might you think I am?” He croons down at her, that midnight voice taking on an amused note. Andras wanted her to speak to him more, he was enjoying it. He didn’t need to play games with this human girl, nor did he feel inclined to. The Fae can see her fear draining away quickly replaced by curiosity and perhaps a bit of… defiance. When he asks her what she was doing roaming around in the thick of the night, he blinks at her response his silence drawn out for a moment in surprise before a dark chuckle reverberates in his chest.

Delight sparks in those hazel eyes! “You’re a curious little thing, aren’t you?” He responds, his eyes narrowing in appreciation at her boldness. “As for your camera, I won’t apologize. Whether you believe me or not, I’ve saved you from a great deal of difficulty in your future,” he shrugs casually not deigning to expand on his cryptic words. Noting the clearing lightening at a rapid pace, he stifles a sigh before he looks over his shoulder, peering at the sun. Expanding his wings slightly to allow the sun to reach along that leathery expanse, the sun casting deadly shadows across the ground, he finally allows those appendages to sink into his back with a sort of finality.

Stretching his neck, he casually slides his hands into his pockets appearing to be nothing more than a human with fairly… pointy ears. Andras couldn’t have his wings out in broad daylight as the chance of being recognized was too high. How many other creatures had wings like him? Finally, he allows his attention to return to her before he tilts his head, inspecting her for a brief moment. Abruptly turning on his heel, he moves gracefully towards the abandoned jacket on the ground and picks it up and slips it on in one fluid motion. Turning again, he walks to her, well, by her and pauses only long enough to call over his shoulder,

“Well, come along human, it isn’t safe here,” a partial lie, not that the sun had fully risen it was moderately safe for the woman, for him however, he couldn’t stay in one place for very long.
