    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Dark Hunters. The word clanged through her with some familiarity, Arlo had mentioned what they were but she couldn’t entirely remember; she still thought he had been joking about their whole… situation. Racking her brain for details, she’s disappointed in herself that she’s not able to remember anything useful. Frowning, she doesn’t make mention of it, at least not now, she merely wanted to get home, get out of the cold and get away from that monster that had been killed before her eyes. She was going to have nightmares for the rest of her life. As they make their way to the front of the building, they push through that door and attempt to tackle the stairs.

She expected it to be difficult but she didn’t realize just how difficult it was. Every step they took has Miya’s legs quaking beneath her, her fear gone for the time being as she entirely concentrates on getting Miya to their apartment. When he subtly shifts more weight to her, she can feel her muscles groan in protest though she doesn’t complain, instead a small grunt escapes her lips. When they finally reach her door, she’s panting heavily as she digs through her bag and pushes that door open. Staggering to the couch, she releases her hold on Alexander as he falls to the couch, the small woman taking her place next to him. Disposing her scarf on the ground, she tilts her head back and attempts to catch her breath.

After a moment, she leans forward and asks him what she can do for him, claiming she was a doctor. His first question out of his mouth has the woman flushing a brilliant red, embarrassment clearly written across her features, “I, um, well no, I start my residency in a few weeks,” she mumbles quietly, her chocolate gaze darting away from him. Pressing her hands nervously into each other, she toys with them before she turns back to Alex, his words drawing her out of her embarrassment. “Isn’t there anything I can do? Anything to help ease it? I mean, is it painful?” she rattles the questions off brows furrowing in concern as that pink flush begins to dissipate from her cheeks.

“You don’t look so good,” she frowns at him, pointing out the obvious. Standing up, she can feel her legs shake beneath her, between the exertion and the fear she had been subjected to within the hour. Taking a step forward, her leg gives out slightly, though she’s able to catch herself before she hits the ground. A small laugh escapes her lips, though no humor coats it but a touch of hysteria could be heard in her vocals. Swallowing it, she pushes herself to a standing position before reaching over for a blanket. Returning to Alex, she puts it on top of him, not entirely sure if he was cold but he truly didn’t look well.

Returning to her position besides Alex, she sits down, grateful to be off her feet once more. Turning her gaze onto the man, her eyes travel to the bite wounds on him, a shudder racing through her shoulders as she thinks about just how close she had been to suffering the same fate. It takes moment before she can bring those chocolate eyes back to his face, “What are Dark Hunters?” she finally inquires, “I have only been… recently exposed to the supernatural world here in Sacrosanct,” she admits.
