    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Henry felt the tug of the child’s hand and he couldn’t just shake her off. He still wasn’t sure if he should follow or run off. He was so lost and conflicted. And yet, somehow, his feet carried him towards Nadya, betraying his mind that told him that this was a very bad idea. He stopped just short of the towel, listening to her tell him to sit down because they were family. Family. He had a hard time believing they were one big happy family after the stern talking to he had received from Raven.

And yet…despite all that had happened, he listened to the introductions, nodding his head softly to each name. He was terrible with names and he was sure he would forget at least one of them. Thinking back to her original statement, he sighed. “I’m not so sure sitting in the best idea. They have it in their heads that you are more evil than the devil himself. I was told not to associate with you.” Why beat around the bush or lie? He’d heard Raven’s side of the story, but he’d not heard Nadya’s. Henry was not one to pass judgement so quickly, so he wanted to hear her side of things. He wanted to be able to make an informed decision on if he should associate with her or not.

However, as she began to speak, he wondered if sitting would really hurt anything. It wasn’t like he was going to fuck her. Surely that would be a far worse offense than a simple conversation. He knelt onto the towel just in time to grab the offered slide of watermelon. “I’ve never drank myself to death, for the record.” Sure, he’d been wasted a few times, but he’d never gotten so drunk that he forgot who he was or where he had been.

She asked him if he was doing better with his feline side and he simply shrugged. “It’s going well.” He lied. He remembered Raven telling him that she couldn’t know his weaknesses and his newness to being a were was one of them. He had to try to convince her that he was doing far better than he really was. Truthfully, he felt like he was fucking it all up. But he wasn’t about to admit to that.

He drew the slice of watermelon to his lips, taking a bite and savoring the flavor as she mentioned him sticking around. He nodded his head. “I don’t have any plans to go anywhere. Where would I go anyway?” Tet was helping him learn to control his feral side. It was important to him. He did not want to hurt anyone else and Tetradore was the only person who could help him achieve that goal. “I’m sure your brother could care a lot more about other people than me. I’m not really anyone important.” At least, he didn’t feel important.
