    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

She knew that his duty came first. He was a hunter first and everything else second. She could respect that. She didn't want to depend on him or ask him to schedule his life around her. That was no way to start any kind of relationship, let alone what she was hoping would be a romantic one with him. She did want things with Alexander, nothing permanent, mind you, because she was aware of the way the world works. She knew that he was immortal, that he could stay the way he is and she would go on aging. There would come a time when she would be wrinkled and gray and he would still be lively and new but she wouldn't think about that. She would focus on the here and now and how much fun they could have together, how much they could BE together. She didn't know how he felt about being exclusive or even what he was hoping to gain from whatever this was that they had but whatever it was, she wanted it to go on just a little bit longer. Then a little bit longer than that and even longer than that.

She saw the way his eyes lit up in curiosity when she brought her shield forward, using it both as a defense and a weapon as Frost had once taught her. For a moment, he almost seemed to forget about the creature she was hunting and she tilted her head, watching him as he reached out to touch it. Yet another time when she was wondering just what he was thinking. Was he impressed or was it something more? Was he thinking with a hunter's mind or with a trainer's? There was definitely more than just friendly curiosity in his gaze, she knew that much. She told him it came in handy and he responded back that he could see how it might, his murmur soft and thoughtful. Her brow rose in question but she decided not to say anymore on the subject for now. Maybe later she could bring it up and see if he would allow her to pick his brain a little. But for now he had a job to finish so she stood back and let him use his abilities on the beast before ending its life. She made herself watch, telling herself over and over again that the Were deserved it. He had to.

The moment Alexander turned to look at her though, none of that mattered anymore. All that mattered was getting him all to herself in a private place and seeing what happened. She was aching for his touch, her eyes already darkening with intention as he stepped toward her. She asked if he could convince her and he said that he had some things in mind. Her lips tugged into a smirk.

"DO YOU, NOW?"

She purred teasingly as her hands slid up his chest. The cloth felt too much like an obstacle at this point, her skin already burning for his touch. Her body reacted of its own accord as they got close, closing off her mind to his reading ability but she didn't think twice about it. It only felt more natural for them to not know what each other were thinking. After all, it's all about trust, right? His lips melded to hers and she returned the gesture, melting into it before he pulled back and said there was somewhere he wanted to take her. She raised a brow at him, giving him a curious smile as he reached for her hand and led her out of the alleyway. She followed him willingly, watching the emotions in his expression as they walked out toward the street. Whatever it was he wanted to show her, he seemed eager about it. She matched his pace, smiling despite herself as she looked around, wondering just what he had in mind.
