    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

While Henry might not understand the ins and outs of being a were, he knew somethings. He supposed what led him to this life was the bite he took on the hand so many months ago. Henry didn’t have a clue that only humans could be turned. Truthfully, he didn’t know much about any of the supernatural beings. He had been a human for so long, it was the only thing that he knew. He supposed he knew some about warlocks only because his boyfriend was one. But even then, his knowledge was limited.

When Tetradore asked if his boyfriend was alright, Henry sighed. “I hope so. I loaded him on an ambulance and came straight here. He was alive, dozing in and out of consciousness.” Henry thought back to the blood bath and he couldn’t help but feel a tear gather at the tip of his eye. “He tried to tell me…after my first shift, he tried to tell me who I was…but I didn’t believe him.” Part of Henry’s problem was that he didn’t remember anything that happened during his shifts. He supposed that if he could, he might have believed his boyfriend when he tried to tell him that something was very wrong.

Henry had already decided that he wasn’t going home until he could control himself. Hurting others was something he knew he couldn’t handle doing every again. However, Henry hadn’t expected the orders that would come from such a decision. When Tetradore barked his orders, Henry looked up at him with a quizzical expression. “Right here? Under this lamppost?” His comment was a little snide, but still playful. Henry wasn’t used to following orders. This would be new for him.

However, when he suggested they get inside so they could shift, Henry looked at him curiously. “Is anyone else around? I don’t want to hurt anyone.” And then it dawned on him that he didn’t even know how to shift. “I don’t even know how to shift.” Every other time he shifted it had been involuntary and he had been an unwilling participant.

Henry followed the other into the abandoned warehouse, glad that no one was around. He wasn’t sure how to control his shift – to get into his cat form or out of it. He supposed that would be one of his lessons eventually. He watched as the other began to strip down. He sighed as he began to undress, tossing his clothes haphazardly next to him.
