    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

That deviant boy was entirely unused to playing the role of teacher in any sense, Tobias unfamiliar with so being asked to instruct another in anything, his mind so forced to consider just how to go about it, the boy reaching for those leather bands before beginning to fold those pieces one over the other. Tobias doing only as he himself had been taught. Teaching by showing. Attempting to have Birdie mimic him as he so often mimicked others in some attempt to be as those around. Tobias entirely oblivious to the way in which his mate seemed to value those differences he himself only seemed to dislike within what part of himself could even truly understand them. His fingers moved deftly, the man relishing those repeated patterns and folds that went over and over, Tobias so adoring those things that went without change, those lines that continued- the way in which he could simply follow that same action over and over. His mind fixated upon it if only because he understood it. The man near finishing half that bracelet before pausing to hand it to Birdie. Insisting she repeat what he had just done as his head continued to rest in her lap. Tobias permitting her closeness, her touch, the boy distinctly calm in her presence as his dark eyes lingered upon her. Those words met with a simple frown though whether he simply contemplated them or struggled to understand them remained to be seen.

His features shifted slightly into a scowl at those errors she made. Patience, perhaps, not truly a strong point of the deviant, Tobias watching as she undid those layers and tried again. The boy loath to have given up that very thing that had kept his hands busy, those long fingers reaching suddenly for her curly hair, the boy parting those strands before beginning to plait them just as he had done that bracelet. This action alone seeming to please him. Tobias oblivious to the notion that Birdie might have enjoyed such a touch, that girls so often braided their hair in such a fashion. That leopard merely liking the pattern it provided and the way it looked within her hair. It was only once he reached the end of that braid that he tugged softly upon it. Tobias holding some knowledge that tugging upon hair might be unpleasant when done to firmly. The boy readily rewarded with her lips upon his own as he stole that kiss from her. His hand reached eagerly then for the other side of her hair, beginning to braid that one much as he had done the first, those gestures entirely innocent, entirely sweet and far softer and gentler then his actions so often were. Yet, so distracted by that task alone his mind was far more given to calmness, as if those more destructive sides were somehow occupied- allowing but a glimpse of that gentle being he could be to seep from within and share that single moment just for them alone.

His hands tugged upon that braid again, silently demanding yet another kiss. That grin touching his lips as his mate readily lent down to allow him to have it. What prompted those words remained to be seen, those stuttered, garbled lyrics falling at last from his lips. Assuring his mate of that very thing he so rarely said and yet he understood on some level. At least, he understood the importance of those words. Tobias offering them to Birdie alone here and now, his gaze glancing upward to her own. The boy hardly anticipating the true effect off his own words or the way his mate’s heart had very near danced with those words. Tobias simply becoming….used to saying them. The boy learning, each day, to better show that affection. After all he still felt those things as any other person surely did, he merely struggled to show them or, more so, to show them correctly. His emotions so often becoming lost and tangled within the veritable land mine that was his own mental state leaving him frustrated and confused and his emotions entirely conflicted. The boy eternally struggling to piece them together as his gaze rested upon her now, judging her reaction to them. Tobias entirely capable of remembering each and every reaction his words achieved and selecting those he liked best.

His gaze followed that bracelet as Birdie tossed it back into his Box of Making, his lips parting to protest before the woman abruptly shifted from behind him, crawling around to almost playfully seat herself atop him, his head tilted slightly in amusement at her actions and yet he hardly made an effort to move her. Tobias content to lay beneath her as her fingers pushed back that wild black hair that was truly beginning to border on out of control, that smile tugging at his lips as she offered those words in return.

“Good.”

He uttered almost solemnly the moment she broke from that deeper kiss, his hands lifting to rest almost instinctively on her waist before he simply…..held them there. Tobias so seemingly waiting for her to flinch from that touch again, the boy seemingly assessing how willing she was to allow him to touch and yet, this time, she hardly moved away- Tobias allowing his hands to slide further up her sides until they rested upon that previously injured spot. The feline unwilling to bring that harm to her and yet when she failed once more to bat his hands away his lips readily pressed to her own again. That deviant entirely content to see just what reaction he might coax from her, the boy searching for just that reason to press further until he felt her return that kiss. That alone, it seemed, enough to reignite those earlier desires that had simmered in the wake of that fight and that shower. His kiss only depend then, Tobias moving to sit upward, his entirely fit, toned figure pressing to her own until she near sat in his lap, the boy shifting only further as he broke that kiss, easing her from atop him before pulling himself to his own feet and reaching down to grasp her hand.

“Need….to stand.”

Just why she needed to stand remained to be seen, his fingers knotting with her own to pull her upward, before his hands returned almost eagerly to her waist. Tobias nothing if not, creative, perhaps. This version of himself a distinctly far cry from the man whom had taken her within that field atop he city with nothing but the night air, his dark eyes resting upon her in an entirely wanting manner. He was, perhaps, far stronger then he truly looked- that boy suddenly and near effortlessly lifting Raven upward, one hand running across her leg, encouraging her to wrap it around his waist before abruptly stepping backward to press her against the wall. His lips finding her own with eagerness again. One free hand reached out, slamming that door closed, the sheer force off that seeing that unfortunately loose shelf upon the bookstand give out, tumbling down with books and clothing and all manner of things. Tobias glancing briefly towards that mess and noise.

“Eh.”

An almost cheeky grin found its way to his features then. Tobias returning his attention near instantly back to that woman in his arms, his lips pressing now to her neck with clear desire…
