    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

WHEN THE DARKNESS COMES70.49.13.16Posted On May 16, 2017 at 4:57 PM by REGAN IZUMI

when you look into an abyss, the abyss looks into you
Nightmares take their toll and Regan is not in the mood for company when she senses the presence of another being in her vicinity. Amethyst eyes lift and scan her surroundings until she sees a crouched human figure of diminutive stature. Her nostrils flare and she grimaces, exposing gleaming ivory teeth as she allows his scent to travel along the Jacobson's organ. She doesn't know this creature and her wariness becomes evident in the set of her feline frame. There is also something inhuman about him...something animal too...but he's not a Were-creature. Of that she is certain.

A silent snarl reverberates inside her chest but falls into silence before it ever reaches his ears. The curse of being a mute, even in her Tiger form. For a moment they simply study one another. The tiger paying close attention to the way he fidgets, the rise and fall of his heaving chest, the rapidness of his heartbeat. Her predatory instincts still lingering in the back of her mind. She could do it you know. Sink her teeth into his flesh...snap his neck with a firm shake of her massive neck. But she wont. If only because she doesn't know why she should.

Instead the ebony tigress pads silently closer to the boy and his animal companion, glowing eyes fixed to his fragile form. She gives him a cursory once over before flicking her gaze to the small bundle of fur tucked against his side. Regan licks her lips reflexively, though it would be a lie to say she didn't enjoy the little creature's reaction. The ebony feline takes a single step closer and chuffs brokenly at the boy's fingertips -- all the while being careful to avoid his touch. It would seem curiosity might kill the cat after all. Though she doubted the boy capable of such a feat.

Regan is left with one thought now. Who is he and what does he want?

"Thinks like this."
