    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

Tetradore was altogether certain that several of their pack members would surely have considered his efforts to teach his childhood friend that level of independence utterly fruitless. Even so, the Alpha was determined in his efforts, his voice altogether soft as he encouraged Tobias to try again. He was unwilling to let the man simply give up on this, his own patience quite near boundless where Tobias' was lacking. Tetradore leaned back in his seat as he felt that car slowly began to move forward, that marked glimpse of hesitance upon the boy's features quite a telling sign in itself. Still, he was learning, of that Tetradore was certain, even if that car was hardly moving any faster than a walking pace. At least Tobias hadn't slammed on the accelerator - his primary fear already assuaged. Rather, his emerald eyes turned towards that slowly approaching turn in the road. "Follow the line." He voiced in that same calm tone, that faith he had within his friend never once swaying. Tetradore could hardly help that simper that appeared upon his lips as the vehicle crawled around that corner, his own body relaxing at the completion of that first successful turn. It was only once they'd completed that turn and the car was once again faced with straight, open "road" that praise fell from his lips, the were-King easily reaching over towards his best friend to ruffle the man's hair in that small gesture of affection. He knew Tobias could do this. He knew it.

He watched as Tobias continued forward with a clear newly found confidence, the were-King entirely unconcerned of the next bend ahead of them. At the very least, Tobias had learned the basics of stop and go and turn, that alone was a success. He hardly anticipated those sudden words from his closest companion, that notion that a 'friend' had come to visit him prompted his own eyebrows to furrow ever so slightly. Truthfully, Tetradore had very few individuals he might have considered a friend in any fashion. It was so few, in fact, that he was already considering that the individual Tobias had met had hardly been his friend at all. That assurance that he would surely return later hardly helped the fashion at which the were-King's lips pressed together in careful consideration and muted dissatisfaction. It was, however, the mention of a present that cause the man to glance up. "Present?" He inquired, altogether baffled by this point. "What sort of present? What did you eat?" At the very least this present hardly seemed dangerous...if Tobias was still perfectly fine. At least there was that….

Even so, he was hardly satisfied with this information, the man instead inquiring who that individual was rather then commenting on the simple fact that Tobias had only eaten some of that gift for him. Tobias habits for taking what he wanted when he wanted were well known to Tetradore by this point. Frankly, it was almost surprising he had left anything at all. Those emerald eyes remained steady upon his companion before those syllables left the boy's lips, that name familiar enough that Tetradore simply snorted ever so slightly. Any anxiety he'd had on that nameless individual's existence all but dissipated. "Oh. I didn't expect him to show up after all this time…" He muttered to himself. After all, the last he'd seen of the man was before Tobias and Nadya had refound him. It had been...years? Any further thought of the man, however, was interrupted by that desire to go backwards. Tetradore considered that request but briefly before giving in, after all, Tobias had done well enough in those bumper cars, it was hardly that different. It was only once the man had stopped that Tetradore changed gears, warning his companion all the same of the distinct difference between going forwards and backwards.

Tetradore watched as Tobias' attention turned towards that back window, his foot pressing upon that pedal and quite abruptly that car lurched backwards. The Alpha's emerald green eyes fluttered towards that side window, watching for any sort of obstacle as Tobias maneuvered with near excellence. He was almost unsurprised by the man's unique ability to do so well where others failed. His head shook ever so slightly at that grin that the boy gave him, the car brought to a stop. That inquiry of driving home, however, was far more than Tetradore was willing to stretch his luck tonight. "No, it's against the rules." They would be pulled over near instantly and, frankly, he wouldn't be surprised at all if he had some sort of warrant out for his arrest with all the activities he was involved in. Those requests that followed, however, brought a small simper to his own features, the man nodded quite firmly. "I think we can make this happen." He commented, with a glimpse of pleasure - at least, unto Tobias turned his attention towards that runway and a ramp at the edge of the tarmac. That request to drive off it however, prompted him to hesitate. "Um….I...think the car would crush that….." He commented with a clear hint of hesitance. They were meant for luggage, after all, surely not the weight of a two thousand pound car. This seemed like a bad idea. A very, very bad idea.
