    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

That assurance that Henry's relationship was...complicated was one that saw his eyebrow raise ever so slightly and yet, the man saw little reason to utter his own thoughts on the topic. After all, his Vector's relationship was hardly his business, much less a place he suspected the man would welcome his intervention. Tetradore was attempting to simply attempting to establish some relationship with the man. Tobias' insistence that he disliked complicated matters was wholly ignored in the same fashion, the were-King instead content to inform Henry that the man at his side was hardly as innocent as Raven had made an effort to make him out to be. After all, the last thing he wanted was some sort of misunderstanding between the two men, much less the pair going head to head on something entirely childish, a fact which he had little doubt that the deviant at his side would do. As it was, Tobias was his best friend and Henry? Henry was his, the relationship between them far more instinctual and intense then anything he knew how to word. They mattered to him. The pair getting along mattered to him.

That sudden throwing up of Henry's arms and the subsequent copying of Tobias in that same gesture prompted a soft sigh from his lips, the were-King shook his head ever so slightly. "No, I know, Henry. I just want to ensure you know exactly what sort of man Tobias is. I don't expect there to be issues." Raven had a fashion of seeing the man through rose colored lenses, not that he faulted the woman in the slightest for it. He was the man she loved, hell, he would have accepted no less from her. Tobias needed someone who could see the good in him with the same steadfast determination that she alone managed. It was a union he approved of and, in turn, Tetradore continued with those introductions, providing names and far better titles than Tobias' simple 'mine'. He was wholly ignorant of the offense Raven took to that declaration that she was Tobias' girlfriend, after all, the pair hardly saw fit to keep him in the know of their ever changing relationship. Much less that simple fact that the concept of 'mates' hardly existed in the mortal world. Tetradore was attempting to ease his Vector into those more animalistic concepts - not that his species, in particular, had 'mates' to begin with. Panthers were solitary creatures by nature. Still, perhaps it was best the man remained entirely naive of such thoughts. The woman had a habit of so considering the worst in him when he made an effort to so include her.

It was Tobias' attempt to voice those syllables of Henry's name that drew his gaze, his head nodding in a small show of approval at that simple mastery of that word. What he hadn't expected, however, was that bag of candy Tobias seemed to pull out of those fabrics of his clothing. His eyebrows furrowed momentarily, that green gaze entirely intent now that there were sweets in the nearby vicinity. He watched as Tobias slipped a piece of chocolate in his mouth, their eyes meeting in a singular silent moment before Tetradore offered Tobias his hand, palm up for that treat. It was only once those sour worms were within his grasp that Tetradore saw fit to continue his introductions, admitting that he had made Henry - words he'd certainly never expected to leave his lips. His own eyes slowly turned back towards Henry at Tobias' simple words of appraisal and yet, Tetradore offered a small shrug in response. He hadn't considered Henry's capabilities in the ring and yet, somehow, he sincerely doubted the man's aptitude at fighting, particularly given his current mood. "Probably not…." He admitted after a moment and yet Tetradore saw little reason to intervene in Tobias' inquiry. It was Henry's choice to join in on those battles Tobias and him so often engaged in.

His gaze shifted at that softly uttered inquiry before his head shook in an answer, "It isn't his first. I don't think he's ready for hunting yet. Tonight, I thought it was best to simply get to know you both. He is part of the family now." There was a small hint of a simper upon his features as his attention turned back towards Henry. That was what they were, after all, a family. Tetradore had never cared much for pack positions or establishing some sort of hierarchy. He had never done any of this for that power or authority. Their pack had always, at heart, had been about family - and now Henry found himself in the midst of one he'd likely never wanted in the first place.
