    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

Henry was surprised to note that he had caught the leopard off guard. It wasn’t often that he was able to do much of anything in this form, so the fact that he had the smallest of victories was something to celebrate. Their good-natured fun allowed him to forget all that was going on in his life and simply let loose. Henry had so much tension in his muscles and built up sexual tension that he had been unable to simply let off steam. He seemed far more uptight than normal and this would allow him to blow off that built up steam – it could be likened to the way a volcano releases a steam pocket to equalize pressure.

As Tobias rose on his two back legs, Henry did the same. Unlike Tobias, it was not as easy as it looked. His balance was still a work in progress – especially on a medium such as sand that was hard to navigate on to begin with. Paws locked with Tobias, using the other to steady his balance until he was pushed to the side. His body collided with the sand with an audible thud as his weight molded into it.

As Tobias had him pinned in the sand, Henry had altogether forgotten that they were also in the presence of Raven and Tetradore. His thoughts were wholly consumed in trying to assert himself with Tobias – it was not an act of challenge, just more of one to show the other that he could in fact play when he wanted. He was trying to show the group that he was making an effort to fit in, to accept himself and who he was. It was a big step for Henry, even if they didn’t quite understand it yet.

And then, it was as if mother nature had been planning this moment all along. The wave that Raven and their alpha had simply neglected to say was coming crashed into Henry, burying him beneath the waves. The cat in him began to scramble, his legs flying in every which way to try and force himself upright. The movement was not coordinated in the least bit and by the time he was finally standing, he looked very much like a drowned rat.
