    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

I can't help this awful energy
Goddamn right, you should be scared of me

Tetradore absolutely abhorred bears - he had yet to meet a single one that was not utterly difficult in some fashion or another. They were either monstrosities that were near a pain to deal with, or utterly stubborn and unwilling to deviate from their own selfish goals. His own rather poor experiences with their kind, were and otherwise, prompted Tetradore's fangs to flash at the sight of those cubs. He was near void of any sort of paternal instinct, unlike those that so pulled at the young woman at his side. Even so, he hardly anticipated the almost abrupt fashion at which she retreated from the mere shadow of that mother bear, though the panther hardly needed any sort of encouragement to follow. His own powerful haunches launched him forward and away from the trio, following after as they ran through that meadow with little concern for quietness. All that mattered in that delicate moment was to escape from the bear before she perceived them as any great threat to her children. Such was certainly not how Tetradore wanted to spend this first trip away from the busy metropolis with his best friend's significant other. At the very least he was thankful she didn't feel inclined to follow them.

A soft sound of relief left his lips the moment they found themselves at the edge of that water, the panther entirely willing to step into that warm lake. Unlike his companion, or even her significant other, Tetradore was not nearly as keen to simply stay muddy the entirety of their trip. Perhaps it had to do with his own short fur and the very fact that he could feel that mud upon his skin, unlike the woman and her thick furred coat. Tetradore certainly didn't anticipate that sudden smack of the wolverine's paw upon the top of that surface, that splash quite near soaking his ebony features and yet, the man hardly took any sort of offense to it. Instead, a look of surprise merely crossed the usually stoic man's face, his gaze shifted towards her, those emerald eyes watching that near playfulness upon her own wolfish face. Well then, if she wanted to play, Tetradore was more than capable of doing so, when the mood struck. Those almost teasing words entered her own thoughts before the man quite near plunged into that water. His species had a certain affinity for swimming, one that was rarely gifted to felines and yet, how utterly glorious that feel of that water was!

Tetradore glanced over his shoulder, those emerald eyes entirely making sure she was following him. That inquiry as to why that swimming stroke was called what it was, however, prompted little more than an idle glance from the man. "Why does it matter?" He asked with a flippant tone to his voice. Raven seemed to be the type of individual that was, at least internally, obsessed with the differences between herself and the other felines of their little pack - near pointing them out or adopting their body language whenever she could in an effort to 'fit in'. It was quite a ridiculous endeavor, as far as Tetradore was concerned. Their differences were what made their pack all the more perfect - they should be celebrated, not belittled and, in turn, the man hardly was inclined to dignify what likely wasn't meant to be regarded so deeply with any sort of deep response either. After all, swimming was swimming no matter what it was called and he was determined to enjoy it all the same. Tetradore led the young woman further across the lake, even though he had no real destination in mind. The last thing that he expected, however, was to lead her straight into the middle of a fish migration.

He could feel those slippery scales slipping alongside his feet, the simple texture of it all almost made the man squirm in uncertainty. His emerald eyes quickly turned down to the water only to note the very same that that Raven had. Well, that was….unexpected. His head bobbed quite readily at that question. "Mmm, we can eat them." He commented, although, truly, he was unaware of whether or not Raven even liked to eat fish. After all, it wasn't often a meal that the group at the Ark enjoyed -- though for what reason, he also wasn't certain. Maybe they should eat more seafood. The thought had no sooner crossed his mind before his head dipped under the water, attempting to snatch at those many fish that swam around him. He had to raise his head to breath and yet, the panther was altogether determined. It wasn't until near half a dozen attempts later that he managed to capture something, the panther rising from the water altogether triumphant. Those grumbling sounds left his mouth in a muffled fashion before he gestured slightly towards the shore. Well...they got a fish. What was he supposed to do with it now?
