    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

He listened quietly to Raven but he wanted so badly to interject. She was under the impression that he had gone up to a random stranger and told her his life story. That wasn’t the case at all. If Henry had a hard time accepting his animal half, he would not be the one to boast about that half. He wished that part of him would simply fade away. So no, he did not tell Nadya who he was. She had figured it out on her own. “You know…she approached me.” He paused for a moment as he tried to tactfully figure out how to say his next set of words. In the end, he found none so he figured he best just go out and say it. “Did you honestly think that I would go run my mouth if I can’t even accept who I am?” Perhaps she just didn’t know him well enough. He was new to them. He was a stranger in their home. Maybe she shouldn’t have assumed, but she had and now he was coming off as rude. Oh well. He wasn’t sure how to not come off rude. He was only being honest with her.

He was about to continue on before he felt her inside his mind. He stopped, shaking his head a little bit. What was with were’s and talking in his head? He didn’t like it. He found it odd and strange and simply unfamiliar. He said nothing though even as the pictures haunted his thoughts. When the pictures finally left his thoughts, he looked up at Raven as she began to explain the images and the man who had caused them. Frost. How could he forget a name like that? “And so Nadya is shacking up with Frost?” He was trying to keep the history straight. There was a lot of pieces that he didn’t quite understand, but he was slowly connecting the dots.

In the end, he decided to just leave that conversation a mystery. One day he’d have to talk to someone about it. How was he supposed to leave someone alone if he knew nothing about them? Someone would need to open up and talk about Nadya and Frost. Maybe if Raven was going to be tight-lipped about it, maybe he would just have to go ask Tetradore himself.

So instead of asking more questions about Nadya and Frost, he decided to ask about his were half. He wanted to know how to control it. He couldn’t hurt anyone again…especially Sterling. When she spoke, it didn’t exactly instill much confidence in him. He sighed. He wanted to control his animal half. He didn’t want to go feral because when that happened, people around him got seriously injured. “I don’t know how to shift. Every time has been involuntarily during the full moons or with Tetradore’s help.” He felt like the worst fuck up of a were. Maybe one day things would be different. Maybe.
