    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

The Western Alpha had become particularly reclusive of late, often choosing to spend long hours alone tucked within his room behind a closed door when it was not required of him to spend time with the young man he'd created so recently. He spoke nothing of this sudden change of his behavior, the man failing to inform the pack entirely of the resurrection of that woman that haunted his very nightmares. He remembered well Tobias' promise from all those near months ago and yet, it was that very thing that surely assisted to provoke his silence. It was a foolish effort, he was sure, but perhaps if he kept them in the dark of that latest development within his life, they might be able to achieve some measure of safety. How life so had a way of beating the already exhausted man at every turn - this one was certainly just the latest in a string of near unfortunate circumstances that had started all those years ago. Tetradore had been entirely content to spend his evening simply curled up in those sheets, allowing Tobias and Raven that time to spend together as a couple however they saw fit. Though truly, of late, he had been giving the pair a significant amount of time at just that, all things considered.

Truthfully, he hardly should have been surprised the moment the deviant boy burst into his bedroom demanding his attention though his efforts to bat his best friend away were all but futile. It had taken some effort but both men were capable of being equally as stubborn when the mood struck. In fact, it wasn't until all the blankets had quite been removed from his bed to a pile on the floor in which Tobias seemed near determined to sit on them in an effort to thwart their retrieval that Tetradore finally admitted defeat. He was content to near drag his feet behind his best friend as the boy near demanded they participate within the fights - after all, how long had it truly been since he had indulged his companion in that ring? Surely months by now. It was that near obsessive insistence that only that broken boy was capable of that prompted him to strip those clothes and shed that skin for that ebony fur. Though his heart was certainly not within that ring tonight, Tetradore knew well the consequences that might befall him if he should lose. And so, instead, he simply did not. He chose the most effective fashion to render his opponents unable to continue, hardly taunting them or prolonging those fights in the way he might usually have for the crowd's amusement. Tonight was about efficiency - and returning to bed.

It was almost a relief, that moment in which no one dared to enter the ring against the duo. Tonight's challengers had given their all, leaving that throne once again claimed by the ebony feline and his spotted companion. He climbed from that ring with Tobias in tow, that fur shed effortlessly back to that caramel skin. The man tugged those pair of pants back on his hips, hardly expecting Jackal's sudden approach as he reached for his shirt. It was the sound of his sister's name that quite suddenly prompted him to halt, that scowl momentarily crossing his features in the wake of those syllables. Nadya was the last thing he presently wanted to deal with. He'd never told the pack what had occurred between the pair. In fact, he could count the singular individual who knew of what happened in what had once been her home. He'd purposefully failed to tell Tobias that she had wanted him to leave the Ark and the pack behind and now….she was back. Frankly, he doubted it was with any intention to return home.

Tetradore hardly bothered to see if Tobias was following him as he made his way up those stairs and back towards his own private quarters. In fact, he was near completely absorbed with his own thoughts on all that had happened and the possibilities of what she might want. Her presence brought about a peculiar clash of emotions within him. A part of him still cared deeply for her, was still hurt by her and yet, another portion was so entirely indifferent to the drama that Nadya so often brought within her wake. He simply cared little for Frost's existence, just as he no longer cared of Nadya's betrayal. After all, all of it was near meaningless in the wake of that silver studded collar that had once again been dangled over his head. In fact - it was almost better kept the way it was. In silence, Tetradore paused at that doorway that led to his office, those emerald eyes simply brushing over the scene of the trio. He leaned against that doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest in a fashion that so clearly stated he was entirely closed off to her. It took a moment before that syllable left his lips and yet, it too was near void of any emotion, his voice low and the epitome of that apathy he'd mastered all those years within captivity - "What?"
