    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

There was so much she didn’t know about her other half. She wished she could understand more of him. After all sometimes a person’s past really helped explain why a person was the way they were. The abuse she suffered explained why she had a great mistrust of everyone she met. He was already aware that she had felt her scars were an imperfection and so that lead to her overwhelming low self-confidence. Raven was already aware that something traumatic happened in his childhood, what that was she didn’t know. Only that it had something to do with water. The lupine knew that his other half really wanted to feel like he belonged with society, even though society hardly wanted him around in the first place. Maybe it was best she didn’t know much. If Tobias would not ask about her own past then maybe it was best she did the same for him. Gently she squeezed his hand in a comfort manner, silently letting him know he didn’t have to continue. Besides, they had their own little family now. Whatever challenge came their way they eventually overcame them, every single one. It was a good thing that he agreed with the idea that they shouldn’t have their ceremony within a church. It just would be accurate for them. They were not a church family and she doubted God, if there was one, would want their kind within his hallowed temple. Besides she didn’t need to have a priest attempt to exorcise her spotted companion, there was no demon living within him, and she didn’t need to give a God more reasons to torture them. Her eyes would shift upwards to her mate as she looked up. Perhaps he was looking at the colorful spots again, that feline part of him hardly settled. Gently she would brush her head against his shoulder, to bring him back to focusing on wherever it was he was taking her. Talking about his first encounter with her closest friend brought a small simper to her face, as she heard her deviant rarely speak in such a sarcastic manner, which led the wolf to promptly reply in an optimistic manner.

“I am sure you both will get along together. I am sure if she does something simple like give him candy, or give him food, he’ll be okay with her.”

Serafina had her own rough edges to smooth out, but Raven was quite sure that she would grow to at least like her mate...or at least tolerate him. Besides the quicker her companion learned that Serafina was hers then he would grow to accept that Serafina was a friend, and not an enemy. Better yet that would mean that there would always be another set of eyes upon the raven-haired woman. She would always be safe. They were territorial creatures after all and whoever, or whatever belonged to one would surely crossover to the other. They may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but that didn’t mean there wasn’t any room for the two of them to come together. Raven was quite confident that they would both get along for her sake. And if not, well, she would deal with that later on. Besides there were many individuals that did like him. Which was quite impressive in a way. She was glad that there were a few others that were capable of seeing the good that she saw, that understood even though he was different he was still special. Many times Raven was accustomed to seeing how others looked upon him when they were together. Their eyes held derision and repulsion wherever they went. Strangely enough it didn’t bother her when she felt their accusing and judgmental eyes upon her when she was with him. For some reason it was as if he was her shield, and she was his shield in return. Being together it didn’t matter what others thought, or what others did...for some reason it just didn’t. With a shrug the she-wolf attempted to soothe whatever self-doubt or dislike with himself and his antics.

“There are people in this world that admire other’s quirks. Some people are capable of looking past flaws and they see who someone really is deep down. You know he took me on a cruise ship, we sat a table with a nice elderly couple...they really liked him. You shouldn’t feel ashamed or embarrassed. People like him, people like you...and those that like you are worth more than anyone that doesn’t like you. And if they don’t like you...I’ll chase them far away.”

They had never walked into this store before. Which meant that they would not be kicked out. Although with the way the woman from behind the desk was coming at them, she was concerned that maybe they would be kicked out. After all word was quite easy to spread and surely everyone was warned about them. Apprehensive she took a step closer, and behind her mate, a bit uncertain of it all. Thankfully though their presence was actually wanted. His offer for them to have civilized photos was a wonderful surprise! Telling him what sort of photos he did have was told in a teasing gesture. But looking down at their clothing she deemed her own unacceptable. If this was going to be their rare chance of having a good photograph of each other, then she was not going to be the one looking terrible. Males could never comprehend the importance for females on how they are to be viewed. Gently her hands would travel up the plains of his chest, as her fingers gently pressed down on his collar for a moment as she murmured softly.

“Tobi you’re dressed very nicely, I am wearing rags Come on...let me get something better.”

Her hand one go into his own as she politely informed the woman that she was going to get better clothes. Which, was to no surprise, the woman voiced her agreement that Raven ought to get better attire. The problem with getting another attire was exactly where they could actually go and get her some decent looking clothes. There were many shops within the mall that were off limits. They would eventually walk to the other side of the mall, stepping on top of the escalator, and standing beside him. Stepping off the moving steps she guided him to stand with her at the entrance of the store. There were dozens of clothes around and she would lead them in slowly as her own mind attempted to wrap around this difficult task, blue-grey eyes looking over his own attire, as her mind tried to figure out what was best she could do.

“Okay, so I just need to find something in here to wear that compliments your attire. Now...where to...start.
