    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

“I doubt you could ever do such a thing.”

Those words were whispered in such a low sardonic tone. Blue-grey eyes shifted to the side as a coy smirk tugged on her pink lips. She was goading him, her words holding such a teasing tone, daring her well-behaved deviant to attempt such an impossible feat. Raven knew that her companion would be unable to stop. She didn’t think she was truly irresistible, but she did know that this sane side of him was hardly around, so he would take every advantage he could. No matter which frame of mind he was in, both treated her were care and love in their own way, the woman appreciating it all. It was so easy to lean in closer to him, as his arms remained encircled around her waist. Public display of affection was not something she was accustomed to doing on a daily basis, but she could get used to this, if she experienced it a little bit more. Standing there with his arms wrapped around her only made the she-wolf crave to be alone with him, even more. Now that he was here they could connect in a different way, in a manner she would not be able to do with his other half. She loved them both, but the woman needed to bond in a different way. After all there were many routes to a woman’s heart. Easing out of his arms she kissed him gently on the cheek, gesturing to the clothes she had found, that might do well.

It was when he offered to pay for her outfit that she turned around, staring at him with a bewildered look on her scarred face. He had money. All this time…all this time? How many times did she go anywhere with him in public and the man made her pay. How many times did she see her deviant go out and snatch whatever he was interested in, then run away, only for her to flee right along with him. That wallet was an object she had never seen him hold in his hand, unless it belonged to some unfortunate soul, he stole it from. They had money. They had a lot of money. They could spend it! I mean she and Tetradore were running a business that was extremely lucrative. Raven didn’t spend the money she earned though, at least, not that much of it. There was no need to. She had everything she wanted and it didn’t cost money. Though right now these new clothes cost money, not expensive, and yet she assumed that ‘pay back’ was necessary. Taking his newly discovered money she headed towards the checkout, waiting patiently in line. She wasn’t angry or mad at all with this new found discovery. Just surprised. The mention that he could be investing was met with a silent turn of her head, one eyebrow raised in a skeptical way. She couldn’t very well tell him no, or mention anything about stealing not when they were around others. Playfully she rolled her eyes and grinned at him, before turning her head back around to the sales person, using his money to pay for her clothes. As they headed for the studio, she whispered her sizes, and she muttered softly at his question.

“Sharing sizes isn’t something you do in public.”

Well, that’s what she thought anyways. She never heard Serafina say aloud what size her clothes were, or Isolt. None of her female counterparts mentioned anything about their sizes and weight, it simply wasn’t something one did. Reaching the studio she left him alone with the woman, heading to the bathroom to change, assured that everything would be okay. After all if his other half was here, he would be coming with her to the bathroom, because she wouldn’t trust him for one second leaving him alone. Coming out in the new clothes she bought and her older clothes in the bag, she couldn’t help but beam at his compliment, pleased to know that he approved her attire. Taking his outstretched hand she followed him to the back noticing the bright lights in this new room. That tug for her to sit was responded with a nod as she quickly sat next to him a bit uncertain. The only time she had a photo taken of herself was when they were at that charity event, stealing the gifts, of course she had no idea those gifts were supposed to be donated. Apparently Tobias liked to keep her in the dark. Looking at the camera apprehensively she looked back to Tobias seeing that rare wide smile on his face, gave her a little bit of encouragement. With a tentative sweet smile she looked at the camera, flinching a little bit from the sound, the ‘click’ a sound that was unfamiliar. Yet after a few more tries she got more comfortable, relaxing a little bit. It was fun to sit close to him, or in his lap, and she felt it was awkward posing as they stood. That unexpected kiss on her cheek promoted the woman to blush, as her facial expression held a mixture of love and surprise. When it came to her turn to decide poses she was quite unsure.

Luckily though the woman assisting them had some ideas that Raven was eager to willingly follow. Eventually they were done and she stood there at the counter with her mate, looking over the photos thoughtfully. Each photo was different not such my position of their sitting or standing, but the expression on their faces. They looked like a normal, happy couple, it was surreal. The photo with the surprise kiss was lifted and placed beside them as one that they would keep. There was another with her in his lap, the two of them grinning at the camera. There was one where they weren’t smiling, but both had a haunting, but gentle look on their faces. It was when the woman suggested he stand behind her with his hands on her waist, his frame towering over hers, the two of them looking serine in that moment. It may not be evident to the woman, but to Raven she knew that look in his golden eyes, and the way his hand was placed along her waist, this was a stance that showed he was in possession of her. It wasn’t a bad thing, it was a good thing. It appeared like he was holding on to her, almost as if he was protecting her from anything and everything that would come their way. Handing it to him she grinned approving this one, as she went to look for others. Muttering softly she leaned her shoulder into his chest, in a sheltering, but close manner.

“We look really well together Tobias. Any of these photos I could use to show us, to anyone, to see you. This was a wonderful gift, it really was.”
