    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

Tetradore seemed very stiff in the way that he settled into the couch, picking nervously at a thread as he seemed to try to think of how to start and end the conversation that was transpiring. Despite his efforts not to truly chastise Henry, that is what it felt like he was doing. Perhaps if Raven hadn’t damn near threatened him, he might not have been so defensive. But Raven had gotten to him first and twatted all conversation about Nadya or Frost – choosing only to tell him the bits that would frighten him and to tell him never to speak to them. What Tetradore was trying to convey was something totally different, so when he said there was no one he couldn’t speak to, he raised his eyebrows and cocked his head. “That’s not the case according to Raven. She practically invaded my thoughts to make sure I knew who Frost looked like. I was basically commanded not to even be around those two.” He paused a moment. “I don’t like to be bossed around, especially by women.” It wasn’t that he felt women were inferior to men…it was just, somewhat insulting to be talked to in such a negative manner. It was just how he was raised.

However, Tetradore continued. He listened quietly to how he described his sister, not missing the way he described her as downright manipulative only using a different set of vocabulary. However, he wasn’t prepared to hear that Tetradore cared about him. He was really just a problem for Tetradore, a mistake that should have never happened – much like an unplanned pregnancy. He was now bound to Tetradore for life, whether or not he wanted him. “You care for me?” He wanted to make a quip about the fact that he was taken, but he had a feeling now would not be the right time for him to bring up such things. So he said nothing else.

When he spoke of his own sister claiming that he wasn’t happy here, he was a little shocked and his expression showed it. He wasn’t happy with what happened to his boyfriend…and he was more unhappy with how he had handled the news of finding out that he was a were. None of that reflected badly on Tetradore. This had been an unfortunate accident that Henry was trying to make a genuine effort to learn to live with. It wasn’t that he was unhappy with what had happened – just that he was unfamiliar and unsure of what he future held. He sighed. “First of all, I never said I wasn’t happy here. Secondly, she didn’t offer me anything but her business card and to come to her little cabaret. But it’s not a nude club, so what’s the point, right?” He was trying to be funny…to lighten the seriousness of the mood. But clearly that probably wasn’t the best thing to say. Once again, he sighed. “There is nothing you can do. I’m more frustrated that I cannot control myself. I nearly killed my boyfriend. I can’t let that happen again.” Sure, he wished his transition had been better with less bloodshed, but there was nothing he could do about that now. He simply had to continue his training and hope that one day, he could control himself while he was in his feline form.
