    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

If there was anything Malia was good at in any form, it was eating. That ferocious appetite of hers never wavered. She'd alwasy managed to stay lean as a coyote and now she still kept a trim waist even when she could put away three cheeseburgers at a time like it was going out of style. She didn't ask questions when it came to the food in Frost's house. She didn't know who got it and it didn't matter. All that did was that it was there and for the taking. She was just glad Frost kept some meat around even though he refused to try any. She didn't think too much on the fact she didn't see a lot of the other pack members. She could smell them and she knew Nadya was among them but the were panther seemed to like keeping to herself so Malia didn't go snooping. She figured Nadya just wanted to play happy couple with Frost. Well, good luck to them. She wished them the best. But she was wondering why Nadya was out here in Tetradore's territory waiting outside a building. That is, until she smelled the heavenly aroma coming from it. She would wait there, too. Unless there's a back door or some other way to get inside.

She told Nadya she was looking for her and noticed the surprise on the panther's features as she asked what was on her mind. Malia couldn't help but laugh. "A lot actually. Of course that's the usual. Um, I actually wanted, well, I don't have a lot of females to talk to." She shifted her weight. "There's a lot of things going on with me...things I don't understand. Being human....it's definitely not the usual and I don't have anyone to explain it to me. Anyone who's not a guy." She scowled, blinking as she tried to figure out if she had explained it well enough. Then Nadya started explaining what the building was and why she was there. Malia's eyes furrowed on the word butcher. Henry had used that word before, to describe the men that prepare the meat for people to buy. She remembered laughing and telling him she needed no one to prepare the meat. She could eat it raw, after all. She smirked. "You're right, he'd probably get mad. The man doesn't even like the idea of a little water in the house if you don't know how to run a washer." She snickered like it was a good joke.

When she felt the intense golden gaze of the panther, she turned to her, the sudden concern surprising her. She shrugged. "Uh, yeah. I mean, I guess so. Do I not look okay? I'm just, I don't know, overwhelmed, I guess. How do you manage everything? How do you be human and then turn around and be a panther? How do you have a family and a boyfriend and survive in a pack? It just all seems to clash to me."
