    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

“It’s called a feral period because you are more animal than human. That consciousness that makes you an intelligent higher being is practically gone and you’re functioning only on instinct. …It happened when I got depressed from being separated from my children because they couldn’t live at the Ark with me when my brother asked me to move-in. I resorted to staying in my animal form and the longer I was in it the more the animal mind took over.” It had been a very dark period for her which she really didn’t care to relive again. As the questions about the troubling time Nadya had with her previous pack poured from Malia she just shook her head slightly as much as the bag of meat allowed her too. The panther side-stepped slightly to gently nudge the coyote with her shoulder. “Don’t worry about it. It’s over now; my brother is happy with his pack and I’m happy with mine.” And that was the truth.

Nadya knew well and good that there would be no stopping those who tried from ranting to who they wanted that her and Frost were evil incarnate. The only thing she could do was trust that Malia based her own decisions on the experiences she’s had seeing that Frost and herself have done her no wrong. Nadya returned to the original thought process at hand of the other woman’s distress over not having another for girl talk and her feelings of boredom. “Yes, wild panthers and the likes are solitary hunters but we’re Weres, of course we learn to hunt with others. At least I have; I grew up in a prominent pack environment. You’re smaller than I am so you’d probably be quieter at finding the prey and getting closer to it. I’m sure we’ll be able to work together.” She had hunted with other species before so had no doubt about it.

Apparently her attempt to explain how unconventional Frost was with his courtship was misinterpreted just a tad. “Well, not exactly.. I mean, a guy should show interest back as well or else you’re the stalker too. It’s very difficult to explain and every situation is different. You just have to be careful is all.” While Nadya was a bit surprised when Malia stated she had already slept with someone, it wasn’t a complete shock considering she was still learning about things and could have been more or less naively tricked into it. That part of course worried Nadya but Malia seemed fine so for now focused on the present. “Yes, Tobias is in Tet’s pack but I did not like him like that. We both had clashing powers and it just happened. I didn’t choose to get pregnant, I took precautions afterwards every time, but when I found out it had happened anyways…I didn’t get rid of them. I couldn’t do that.” It had been the first toughest decision she had ever had to make in regards to the twins.

If Nadya had been in human form she would have been all shades of red at Malia’s bluntness from her escapade though it didn’t stop that soft chort of a chuckle either. “Yes, it is fun if done right and with someone you care about and who cares about you. It’s called sex though, not mating, and the wet stuff….well…name isn’t important. A doctor can give a pill to take everyday, you can get condoms which is like a cover for the guy’s…uh…part, or you can take an after pill. The after pill is more for emergencies, if you weren’t planning on having sex and it happened like with Tobias and I.” As they drew closer to the residential neighborhood, Nadya tugged at the pack bond linking her to Frost, ensuring he wasn’t at the house so as not to startle Malia away from whatever girl talk she still wished to engage in. “If you like this guy then you should see him again. Try seeing him when you’re both not drinking though that way you can see if it’s just the alcohol making you interested. Alcohol can make people seem a whole lot more enticing. Where did you meet this mystery man anyways?”
