East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The violet eyes of the stallion glanced briefly down at his phone once more, eyeing the time on the screen before moving to slide it back into the pocket of his coat. He offers the briefest nod of his head to man he had been talking too, detangling himself from the crowd of people that had only seemed to grow in the last hour or so before moving to head for the door. Dareios' desire to meet in the alleyway was a decidedly displeasing one- why the vampire simply couldn't give him what he was owed here and now he hardly knew. Perhaps he disliked the risk of being photographed handing anything to the war horse, the vaguest snort of amusement erupting from within the man at the thought. He pauses only once before he makes his way outside, finger briefly brushing against Edie's elbow to draw her attention away from whatever poor man was in the grips of her power to murmur a few words into her ear. It would be decidedly imprudent, after all, to allow himself to be caught in an alleyway with a vampire and any potential friends the vampire might have away from the cameras and glamourous patrons at tonight's event. He is...undecided on just how treacherous he feels Darioes might be and as such he remains prepared for it all the same. He has played these games for a long time, hardly having survived this long by being foolish and while he hardly anticipates too much dishonesty from the other man he would hardly find himself surprised to hear Dareios demand more of him then perhaps they had originally agreed. It depended, truly, on what exactly the vampire had managed to find out about the amulet and its potential....value. Frost hardly having been forthcoming on it in their first meeting. Much as he had failed to inform the man it rested within Hunter possession.

Still, Dareios had evidently survived that. Hmm, perhaps he was more capable then he actually looked. Frost steps easily away from the building, rounding the corner, pausing at the entrance to the alleyway to allow his own senses to extend, both those natural to his animal form and those a little more attributed to his gifts, searching for any signatures, either hot or cold, within the darkness of the rather decrepit space. Walking into any kind of set up, after all, was not his goal for the evening. Attempting to secure his amulet without paying Dareios was significantly more along the lines of tonight's attempted achievements. One hand reaches up, running through the length of those strange, snowy locks before the man simply moves to fold his arms over his chest, one leg crossing over the other as he leans back against the wall- assuring his own amulet remained beneath his shirt and pressed against his chest.

There was little to do now but wait, Frost managing to look decently bored all the same, his features as devoid of any true emotion as always. That Dareios might very well become the mayor of the city was a rather intriguing prospect, his choice to run openly as a vampire a poor one in Frost's opinion and yet if his campaign managers were good enough there was a certain spin that could have as well. What would be truly intriguing would be the interviews, the difficult questions, the ones the human opposition were sure to throw at him. How many people have you killed? How old are you? Do you have powers and do you use them? How do you intend to run this city if you cannot be present in the sunlight? Truly Frost found he rather looked forward to seeing Dareios attempt to answer such things. Again, he supposed, it depended upon his PR manager and yet really from the brief moment he had interacted with the man inside the stallion finds him a little lacking. Still, Dareios choices were his own he supposed. Perhaps the vampire might even be worth keeping around if he did manage to achieve office. Hmm, perhaps this was a bridge better not burned just yet. He would simply wait and see.
