North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

A soft breath of relief left the vampire's lips as the young woman so eagerly engaged in that gift he had provided her with. Truthfully, even he doubted he was capable of further entertaining her, his maker entirely exhausting when she so saw fit to be. She was a danger to everyone around her, the vampire himself included. And yet, in moments such as these, when her attention was so steadfastly focused on something so innocent and naive....the truth of what she was could almost be forgotten. Almost. For several moments, the vampire's blue eyes remained settled upon the girl, watching as she so meticulously placed each and every piece of furniture in a fashion that surely only made sense to her. Those dolls too were regarded with an intense stare and then, quite abruptly, he found himself presented with an idle comment of her past - and, in turn, a hint of his own origins. Cats. Who would have anticipated that?

For several moments, Sebastian was under the guise that these felines she spoke of were no more than any ordinary house cat - at least, until she mentioned those species. Leopards, tigers, lions...in a house? That confirmation that they were more akin to people saw his eyebrows furrow and yet, even Sebastian was truly unaware of how particularly rare it was for his species to live in harmony with those of the animal kind. Perhaps, he had taken after the child whom had created him in more ways than just one - Charles and his family naturally the first thing to so linger upon his own mind. A small frown marred his features as he watched the placement of those dolls, the realization of that world she'd once lived in entirely donning on him and yet - it hardly served to answer that question of why it had all gone amiss. What traitorous thing had occurred to so break her and, in turn, lead to his own death?

He listened as she continued on, suddenly under the realization that he both lacked a kitty and, in turn, protection. Then again, it wasn't as if Sebastian was terribly in need of such a thing in the first place. "I'll be fine, ma petite." He uttered softly, providing her a small simper and yet he hardly anticipated the way in which she suddenly closed the gap between them, her smaller hands placed on both sides of his head. The man's crystalline gaze widened ever so slightly in surprise as she spoke those clear instructions nearly like a command and yet, all the vampire could do was nod ever so slightly. "Oh...ok..okay..." He stated, his voice trailing of with a hint of confusion. "Can you...tell me anything about this traitor? So I know who to look out for?" It was a long shot, really, but Sebastian could hardly help himself from trying all the same.
