North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

"A pleasure as always, Charles." The young brunette smiled warmly at the man as she slowly slid from her chair to stand. The young man addressed as Charles, dressed in a business suit, mirrored her movements in standing, "But it is you who can light up the room, Ms. Lilith." He chuckled as he took her hand and politely kissed the top of it. "I will have my secretary contact you in a month for the next event. These galas would be impossible to get through without your company." With that he offered the subtlest of dips in a bow before ducking out of the establishment. Lilith watched his form retreat before her own twisted about and headed straight for the bar.

Normally after a job she headed out to a real bar to get nice and drunk and dance all night. She spent so much time on her job behaving proper that she just needed to let loose. Lilith slid onto a bar stool a few down from the obvious out-of-towner. The bartender wandered over to her once she sat down. "If I have to listen to one more old stuffy man talk about the stock market I think I'm going to snap, Yoland." She easily began venting to the bartender whom she seemed to know well. "You do seem to dazzle them though." Yoland offered a throaty chuckle as he shook his head. Lilith's rolled her eyes as Yoland stepped away once more knowing full well her usual order.

It was as Lilith turned her bored gaze elsewhere that they landed on the newcomer. Amusement colored her chocolate eyes, witnessing his face scrunch in distaste at the drink he had then return pitifully to the menu. He didn't look like the normal businessmen of her business, his attire not showing any exuberant wealth though he wasn't dissolved appearing at least. Hmm, perhaps she may find some entertainment tonight after all. "Oh Yoland, take some pity on the man and give him a real drink." A playful smirk pulled up the corners of her lips, motioning for Yoland to return. "Get us two Dragon's."

Yoland gave a glance to the man whom he had made the cocktail for before shrugging and pulling out to half glasses. He went about mixing fireball whiskey and several drops of red liquid then pouring it into the glass over a few pieces of ice and sliding it over to the man and Lilith. Lilith kept her gaze on the man the entire time, lifting her drink in a salute to him before taking a sip. She was well used to the kick of spice from the fireball and the heat of the added hot sauce but waited to see what the stranger would do.
