I am curious of the other vampires that call Sacrosanct home. I'm sure Ceara isn't the first that's been hiding in plain view since I rolled into town. They just have yet to show themselves to me and what better way than a party at the finest club in town? My eyes constantly roam the room, taking in the other patrons and blood bags that are skulking around. It's easy to tell an average age on most of the others here by the way they dress. A creature of habit, it seems most would keep dressing in the era that they grew up in. Very few choose to adopt the growing trends of today's society. I am one of those few that do like changing with the times, however. Things from the 1940's might not look so out of place here but out in the world, it would make it far too easy to identify me as much older than I look. With the hunters growing in number, the last thing I need is a label on my forehead. I've been eying that glazey eyed bartender all night. Something tells me he had something to do with the hunter that showed up a few nights back when I was hanging out with Ceara. I can't connect the dots just yet but I'm pretty sure he's working for them or with them or something. Damn old heretic. The moment she walks in, I can tell by her pint sized waist that she's got a corset on. Most women who wear them now a days wear them like a shirt so it's easy enough to tell cause they think it's sexy, and they wouldn't be wrong, but it's easy enough to tell when a woman is well aware of how a corset should be worn, which is under your attire. A vampire, and an old one. I'm guessing someone of noble blood wiht the way she holds herself, as if she's used to having power. I must say, she looks good with it, too. My blue eyes scan her politely before I look elsewhere, not wanting to be rude and stare. Thankfully I don't have to wait long to get another glimpse of her because she glides to the seat next to me and slides in. I glance over curiously as she orders a drink, noting the cautious way she eyes the bartender. It's easy enough to tell he's been tampered with, mental-wise so I'm sure she picked up on that. I can smell her drink from here, the bitter tang mixed with a sweetness that only comes with good wine. When she speaks to me, I can catch the tinge of an English accent. I grin, flashing her pearly whites before I look down at my empty glass and chuckle softly under my breath. "I wouldn't want to dirty up the club with that kind of filth. And who says it has to be right now that she gets her punishment?" My eyes darken with bad intentions as I turn back to the bartender and order another drink. Oh yes, I'll be keeping an eye out on that particular one. I'm a patient man, so I can wait till she leaves before I have my fun. After the bartender sets the new drink before me, I turn back to my companion, bowing my upper half some as I hold out my hand, palm up in the old fashioned manner. "Damon Marcello, by the way. Haven't seen you around before now." I offer as light conversation. |
