death incarnate & night triumphant
It had been centuries since he had, had a glimpse of the lovely Eve. Though, for a time, they had shared a bed, luckily for the two of them, neither of them had truly felt much for each other, simply just lust. Something to take the edge off after a long day. Andras had no doubt that Eve was partially using him, to perhaps throw it in Marek's face later, perhaps she did after he disappeared from her castle. At the very least, Andras knew what had befallen Marek after he left. Truly, Eve was a one of a kind. Such a terrible past she had, but somehow, she had managed to claim the title, "Queen of Thorns".
A wry smile at the distant memories as Andras takes in her expression as it softens at the touch of scotch that runs along her tongue. Brows raising briefly in amusement, he runs his own finger along the rim of his glass as he openly regards her, giving her is entire undivided attention. Her response has a dark chuckle escaping his lips before he throws back his drink, finishing it off swiftly before setting it silently back on the table. "I see your wicked tongue hasn't dulled in these last several centuries," he responds, amusement coating his lyrics, "If I recall correctly, there was no foreplay involved when you ravished me in nothing short of a janitorial closet," again, that midnight smile tugs at his lips before his dark eyes hold Eve's.
He's silent for a moment, merely letting his gaze travel appreciating over her form. The High Lord knew he was walking a dangerous line, but he had always walked that line with Eve; mostly because he knew she wouldn't judge him for what he had done in the past, however bad it was at the time. After several moments, Andras flags a waiter down, only tearing his eyes away from her when the waiter arrives at the table. Quickly ordering another of his drinks, he glances at Eve's own nearly diminished drink and orders her another. Another one of her responses has Andras smiling at her, again, fixing her with those piercing eyes, "Ah, my darling Eve, of course I haven't forgotten. There are even nights I lay awake thinking about that skillful tongue of yours," he gives her a sly wink, that wry grin tugging at the corners of his lips.
He's pleasantly surprised when she begins to contemplate his offer, watching her ponder over what he was asking of her. It took her only a matter of moments before she cuts to the chase and blatantly asks him what he wants. A dark half smile is playing upon those devilish lips as he leans forward slightly, he doesn't hesitate when she calls him out on walking away either, instead, that half simper remains, "Believe me, I would have remained yet business drew me away, an unfortunate turn of events," he gives a small shrug at that, "If I had stayed you would have never become you, you would have never become as independent as you are now. I'm not saying I did you a favor by leaving, I'm simply stating that I don't believe you would have destroyed Marek if I had stayed," blunt and honest, a trait that Andras always provided when necessary.
"Plus, you mastered your shifting after I left," he drawls out, his eyes narrowing slightly, though that half smile remains, "I can imagine you know why I'm here," a slight tilt to his head, "I would like for you to be my Spymaster, your shifting abilities would make you very capable and perhaps you wouldn't mind the title Consort as well. Perhaps you can show me again just how much I rather enjoyed that wicked tongue of yours," he smiles devilishly, his eyes narrowing in on her as his gaze travels her plump lips. Even when the waiter returns with their drinks he doesn't take his eyes off of her. Maybe it made him bastard for bribing Eve into the position, yet, he hardly cared enough to take back his offer, he wouldn't mind having someone in his bed again.
