Sebastian Ellington
I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.
Sebastian found himself in a truly difficult situation. On one hand, he was making every effort to befriend the young pregnant woman, despite her own best efforts to be cold in every fashion He hardly blamed her, however. After all, her secret had been given to him by someone who, apparently, should not have had it in the first place. He was equally as certain, however, that Troy had in the right to tell those whom he trusted, those who might share his excitement and joy for his first child - and for her's. The last thing he wanted was to get anyone involved for spilling what was clearly meant to be a rather clandestine secret. Though even that he had a hard time feeling out. After all, it was entirely obvious to anyone who paid attention that she was certainly pregnant and yet, he couldn't blame her for being restless stuck in her home either. There were far too many factors at work here and carefully, Sebastian was attempting to navigate those waters. He nodded readily in agreement that Troy surely had just been excited.
It was with a measure of tentativeness that Sebastian suggested, all the same, that perhaps such outings as this were better reserved for Troy then herself. That sigh told the man well enough that she knew this fact and yet, he could only imagine the things that had to be tended to when expecting a child. The truth was, Sebastian would never know what that was like - to be an expecting father. It was a fact he'd long since come to terms with and so the man simply offered her a small nodd. It was hardly his place to say what efforts she made were acceptable or not. Instead, Sebastian opened that door to that boutique for her. He followed in her wake as she made her way towards the counter. He remained silent as the two women fussed over the paperwork required to pick up those items, his own bright blue eyes roved the objects in the establishment with vague curiosity of all he could never have. It was only those singular words of 'my friend' that prompted the Englishman's attention back towards the two women. A warm smile brushed across his lips as he nodded in agreement. It was hardly a useful offer, he realized, since the store was clearly willing to load the items for her and yet...he was still steadfast in his efforts to try all the same.
