The vibrant red head was the last person Nadya would expect to run into. Their lives had taken on such vastly different paths that the vampire's absence wasn't seen as strange. It wasn't until the near collision now that all those memories of the woman came rushing back to the forefront of her mind. Honestly, Nadya was also quite surprised by the friendly hug that Isolt bestowed upon her. Isolt had after all been a confidant of her brother so she simply figured that he had gone to her to vent after everything with Frost. Seemed most individuals she ran into lately had a one-sided story of preconceived notions about her due to his venting.
All that meant it took Nadya a moment for the shock to leave her system when Isolt finally stepped away to stoop in front of the stroller. She allowed a soft smile to grace her features, "Thank you, they really have grown a lot. It's like herding cats sometimes now." Nadya chuckled softly and stepped around to unbuckle Izzy who seemed to be the one most awake and wanting to interact. The young mother gently lifted her near 3 year old daughter from the stroller and pressed the toddler into Isolt's arms. Even since the beginning, never had Nadya felt any fear or apprehension at the vampire being with her children. It was Isolt after all who turned Nadya from an unknowing young girl into a mother.
"Oh no, don't apologize, I completely understand. I just finished selling the burlesque and started working on a dance studio so I know how you feel." Nadya motioned in the direction she had come from. So much had changed since she had last seen Isolt it would be a very long day indeed if she answered the woman's question from the beginning. "I'm...good. We're good. We aren't living in the condo anymore though; we moved to a house. The twins absolutely love having a backyard again. They only had one when they were living with my parents." Nadya stooped over to readjust Micah's blankets and stroke the top of his head. If Isolt didn't know about Nadya's transition into Frost's pack then she was ok with skimping on the details and giving the most basic overview.
"How are you doing? I heard rumors that the Supreme was tying the knot. Is that true? Are you getting married?" Nadya was also quite happy to switch the focus onto her old friend to avoid any awkwardness.
