North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Anna-Marie could be quite singular in her mindframe and thus be rather unattentive to other things. Such things as Dorian's security team whom he had signaled aside. It was for the best as Anna had a track record of taking out anything that kept her from what she wanted. Tonight that seemed to be ice skating. It had just been a lucky coincidence that Dorian had been in the vicinity at the same time. Her little hand clutching the fae's with only the demand to ice skate leaving her lips as she pulled him towards the rental stand.

"Of course I can skate." A look of incredulous suspicion crossed her features as she glanced up at Dorian. "All fae can skate." She suspected Dorian was lying to her, and how she hated being lied to. Fae were graceful creatures by nature which meant that they should be natural at this activity. Her deceiving strength for such a small frame was easy to lug Dorian to the stand where the employee still stood. The man gave a skeptical look to the pair, doubting that Dorian was her guardian, but he was there to rent skates...not argue parentage. "Ok, what size?" Anna held up 4 fingers and the man placed them on the counter then looked to Dorian. "What size?" The moment of silence was broken as he continued, "Children have to be accompanied on the ice. Are you going?" Anna's gaze slid from the employee to Dorian, silently wondering if he'd back out. It was times like these that it was difficult to be so old trapped in a body so young.

The delight the crossed her features seeing Dorian relent and grabbed her skates. Only then did she release his hands and hurry over to the benches to begin putting the skates on. She trusted by now he had accepted his fate and would follow her.

Anna paused after putting on her skates to watch Dorian. "...Sebastian said he's getting married. I know it's you." It was best he knew that she knew. Her sapphire blue gaze turned to the ice ring. Sebastian hadn't told her it was Dorian but she had found out on her own. "He got me a dress so I can come too." The wedding was sure to be grand and she had already gotten the lecture on behaving herself. With a new dress to show off she would at least be amicable. Anna stood abruptly and stepped onto the ice, pausing just inside to look back over the wall in wait for Dorian.
