Miya hardly enjoyed being told how to do her job and yet she couldn't deny that the man she was bandaging was right. Sighing as she inspects his wound, she agrees with him to some small measure, she could have easily of taped the wound but she feared there was too much blood to do so. So, the woman rummages around the small wound, retrieving the necessary equipment she needed to begin the process, his nervous chuckle has the woman glancing back at him, her gaze softening as she gives him an encouraging smile, "it'll only hurt for a minute," she tells him, not entirely sure if he were frightened or not. As she finishes gathering the items, she casually asks for his name, kicking herself silently for not snatching the clipboard off the other nurse.
She's ignorant to the hesitancy in his voice but when he introduces herself she can't help but snap her head up in surprise. What were the chances? It couldn't be that Henry could it? The same one both Sterling and Malia has mentioned? Unsettled by the fact that this could be that same man, she hesitates where she's standing before finally moving back to the chair next to him. Taking a deep breath, she scolds herself, telling herself she was being silly, there were probably loads of Henry's that lived in the city. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, she returns to his side and sits down, cleansing the wound as she inquired as to what happened. His response draws a faint smile to her delicate features as chocolate eyes flick up to him, "Well, if you find that rock maybe you can sue it," she responds back in kind, wanting to keep him distracted as she threads that large needle.
There's a touch of uneasiness coloring her features but she throws herself into her work, not allowing that concentration to slip, she begins on his arm, giving him one warning glance, "Keep still," she demands as she slowly begins to work on that wound. Threading his skin back together with those stitches, she goes slowly so as to not make any mistakes. "Nice to meet you, Henry," she comments in between stitches, hoping to keep him distracted while she worked, "Henry, you wouldn't happen to know Sterling Tenembrage, would you?" She asks quietly praying to god that this wasn't the same person, though she didn't know the man by any means, Miya tended to have a wild imagination and... what happened to Sterling didn't seem normal, nor did her first encounter with Malia.
Pausing in her work, she lets those chocolate eyes travel up to him, wariness so settling in her gaze as she waits for a response. In that brief pause, she reaches for a cloth drenched in alcohol, scrubbing at his wound gently though she hardly warned him, she learned in her career that it was sometimes better to not tell them when she was about to cause pain.
