North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The scowl on her face only went darker when he replied once more with his sexist decision. If Tobias was any other man she wouldn't be afraid to speak her mind and put him in his place. Women could do exactly what men could do. Well, maybe not everything. Raven would admit to that. However, driving a vehicle like this was in the realm of 'women can do this.' Perhaps one day she should introduce her feline lover to the song 'Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better.' Although in hindsight maybe not. That would be his comeback to everything. With an exasperated sigh she shook her head in disappointment. No matter what she said or did the boy would never understand. Maybe his other side would, but he wasn't here right now. Dropping the subject the young woman returned her focus on the road, listening to the soothing AI voice, direct her where to go. Although that wasn't the only voice she was hearing. Blue-grey eyes briefly shifted to her mate noticing his odd choice of words, speaking them in a rhythm in a language that he alone would understand. Not wanting to interrupt him she remained quiet as she stepped on the accelerator.

As soon as they made it to the circus the young woman could feel her heart thumping a bit quicker. Although she was excited to be here, and relieved they made it without getting in an accident, she was a bit apprehensive about their goal. Just how exactly were they going to try and get the hair off a woman's' face? I mean it's not like they could just walk up and say 'Hey, I need a piece of your hair, because we're trying to open this medallion.' Because any sane person would comprehend this and be willing to help them! This was ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous! Of course her mate would be eager to get started with this mission. As soon as she was able to get out of the car he dragged her along, the woman forcing him to stop, if only to lock the car. Entering the grounds all her senses were assaulted! The worry she had was suddenly gone. The young woman was far too excited. Everyone seemed happy, she could see people having fun. It was silly to say, but the energy here was good! So, why shouldn't she feel happy? Raven had no idea her mate was staying very close to her to be protective. She just assumed he wanted to be close, because he wanted to, not that he needed to.

As her mate led them to the trailer where their target was Raven's apprehension slowly started to come back. After warning her mate about being careful and not trying to scare the bearded woman Raven still didn't feel ready to do this. Approaching the woman the lupine attempted to show that she was not a threat to the young woman, hoping the bearded lady would just see them as friendly patrons, patrons that accidentally stumbled into her trailer! Holding up her palms in a universal gesture that she meant no harm she tried to speak to see if they would understand. The bearded woman nodded her head a few times, setting her brush on the dresser. As Raven was about to speak she noticed her mate making his approach and hearing his wrong choice of words. Blue-grey eyes widened in shock as she quickly shook her head speaking up quickly.

"I am so sorry, my fiancé', he doesn't speak English very well."

It was true. The man could speak English, but he was incapable of speaking it very well. There were many times when her mate said something that he shouldn't say. Always the wrong thing. Usually at the wrong time. Like now.

The bearded lady's dark eyes widened with fear. The woman would take her copper brush and throw it sqauerly at Tobias. Raven flinched as she jumped to the side to let the brush fly past her. The Italian woman would start grabbing anything she could find on her dresser. A comb, another brush, make up contents, a little mirror, tweezers, anything she could get her hands on. As the Italian woman leapt from her chair to run away, Raven used her telekenesis to shut the trailer door. This was bad. This was very very bad. Tobias had one job. Not to scare her! Franctily she looked at Tobias unsure what was going to happen. This was turning into a hostage situration now. God could it get any wrose! Urgently she looked to her mate trying to keep her voice steady and calm.

"Tobi, don't hurt her...help me keep her calm. I don't want the others to hear her freaking out!"
