audette rousseau
Audette was surely lucky to find herself in the unique position to obtain the phone number of a Dark Hunter for her every beck and call! The convenience of it was surely too good to be true - a fact she was keen to point out with a girlish giggle upon her sweet heart lips. How easily he plucked those very words from her mind as his shoulders lifted in a brief shrug, the banter between them felt entirely easy - one Audette was more than happy to continue as she inquired if he was certain he wished to be at her mercy any time. The things she could do with 'any time'! The youthful fae could hardly help that glimpse of mischievousness as she contemplated all the ways in which those words could be taken far too literally - like when she was struggling to open a jar of pasta sauce or the next time a large bug crawled into her house through the windows. His voice was...surprisingly tender when he responded, the man clearly holding an ocean of thoughts within his mind that so dampered the once lighthearted mood between the two. It was not Audette's place to ask, however, and so instead she merely offered him a soft smile. "You might regret that." She informed him, only to bring her still warm coffee cup to her lips, her clove irises eying him over the edge of the white plastic top.
That nonchalance that had but momentarily graced the Dark Hunter in the midst of their banter, however, was all but lost as he abruptly rose to his feet. The clove hue of her gaze turned towards him, the ballerina looking up at him with a glimpse of inquisitiveness as she questioned after his curious wording, all but oblivious of the thoughts that crossed his mind and, in turn, exactly what she needed a reminder of. Her gaze deviated but briefly as those dark, curling shadows that surrounded him seemed to reach for her - though Audette no longer found them to be a source of apprehension and more like a rather strange...pet. She glanced back up at him, ignoring his affinity all together just in time for Adrien to reach out his hand in an effort to help her to her feet. Gracefully, the ballerina lifted herself to her feet, hardly depending terribly upon her Dark Hunter companion as she stepped away from the edge of the building. Her gaze followed her companion's gesture towards the skyline that she was surrounded by, the city lights twinkling in all their beautiful glory. A soft simper spread across her features as her attention returned to the man beside her as he spoke of this place. Ah, if only she had a place quite like this that gave her that same feeling he spoke of! A place that grounded her and made the woes of Sacrosanct seem somehow...lesser. "It is a very beautiful place...thank you for sharing it with me, Adrien." She offered genuinely. Though she might not be inclined to venture up here by herself - Audette would certainly not forget this evening, or the view he shared with her.
His offer to take her back home was one she graciously accepted. Afterall, Audette enjoyed his company. It was a shame the night was coming to an end so rapidly. He stepped further away from the edge and without hesitation, the ballerina trailed after him, pausing in front him as he so abruptly stopped in his tracks. Her gaze turned back towards him, and slowly her head tilted to the side in a brief glimpse of curiosity. The chilled evening wind whipped around them, causing the heavy material of his jacket to rise and fall with an almost loud fluttering. Her long blonde locks were quickly picked up by the same breeze, flying around her momentarily before they settled waywardly upon her shoulders. How entirely aware the ballerina was of Adrien's amethyst gaze upon her! He reached forward towards her, his touch entirely tender as he brushed a stray lock behind her ear. A look of surprise crossed his features, as if the Hunter hadn't quite realized what he had done - though truly it merely prompted a soft giggle on her lips. "Thank you." Audette offered gently, in some vague attempt to reassure him she hardly minded the gesture. The very last thing that Audette anticipated, as he stared into the warm clove of her irises, was the gentle inquiry to kiss her. Her brows rose in brief surprise, though it was one she quickly recovered from. "Oui, you can." She muttered softly, stepping forward and closer towards him whilst she waited for him to close the sparse distance between them.
