The first encounter with a Were, he didn't expect the meeting to go like this at all. And this was not said in a bad way at all, in Gideon's head. He was quite pleased the meeting was going so well, and he just found himself rather amused. Hard to turn down good conversation, even when it's from a creature who has to learn to speak. And laugh. It was heart warming honestly.
The proposition of asking a witch or another Fae was something Gideon did think about when it came to the subject of him wearing glasses, and his eyes.
Serafina was the only witch that came to mind, but he knew she'd want something big in return. He'd think about that another time.
"Well you see, I just learned to live with it, you know? Never thought about getting it changed."
The Greek just shrugged and cracked a smile at Tobias. That was his only real response to the whole subject of his eyes. And the 'shinies". Never would Gideon forget that one.
Nor would he forget this day either, when it would come to a close. The sun had started setting and painting the city with that light orange tint. Reminded him of the Mediterranean Sunsets
Boy he did miss those.
"You said it right, yes! No worries if you butchered it. Names and words are a pain."
A slight scoff escaped Gideon. "But, I talk funny? You must mean my accent. Never really lost it, I suppose. Living in Sacrosanct for this long I thought I would have lost it but... Quite the opposite."
Gideon did his best to explain to the big cat as he stole a chair and sat himself still staring at the Were.
"You see, English is not my first language. But I had to learn it. Greek is my first language, forever and always. And everyday I make sure I never lose the language of my kin and country..
But yes, I sound funny because I'm from a different country."
Hopefully that made sense...
"King however is a subject title; The definition is solid yes, but if you were to ask someone who is your king, the answer changes. The title may even change. Who knows. The idea is, someone is bound to know what you mean."
Another slight chuckle as Gideon fixed his posture in his seat, and fixed a fleck of hair.
".... Kill me because I'm Fae... Hmm... My interest is intrigued probably more than it should be..
Nevertheless, I will stay cautious.. As for my job?..."
He carefully pulled out one of his trusty blades. One that was more for stealth jobs.
"Let's just say... It's on the quieter side of things."
