One would think Raven could have a peaceful moment alone without dawdling in the woods, but clearly that possibility was incorrect. Although she was a loner she had been spending an awful long time with an ample of other people, mostly Weres. It was in her nature to satisfy the need to be among others, a flaw in what she thought was her picture-perfect system. Reserved in her ways being among others simply put a stop to her normal routine. Lately she had been spending far too much time with other Weres and she could use some alone time, to remind herself she wasn't supposed to get too attached. As the sound of metal scratching tile reached her ears, she instantly flinched lowering her head as she felt his towering figure get close to her. Even though he was focused on the males, she bit her lip, crossing her arms along the bar-top, she attempted to make herself smaller as she slouched forward. You didn't have to be an empath or a mind reader to see there was something bothering the aloof and broken woman. Quietly she murmured her reply, slate eyes still avoiding him as he returned to his seat.

"Yes."

There was no need to tell him everything, really he didn't want to know and she wasn't an open book. Highly uncomfortable she would turn her upper torso away from his direction, her head bent down. Grateful that he had managed to get rid of the males that caused nothing but a nuisance to her, and perhaps to other patrons of the bar, she couldn't help but feel like she was supposed to do something in return. Unable to trust males it was difficult for her to figure out just how she could say her thanks without it being seen in an unnecessary light. Golden curls easily hid the side of her face, as her blue-grey eyes shifted in his direction eyeing his drink. Thinking this could be an easy way of showing gratitude, and perhaps an excuse to cease the conversation and return to her book, to pick up the pieces of her lonely night, she would give a subtle wave to the bartender. Nimble fingers would gently pull back her soft golden-brown tendrils from the side of her mutilated face. The four scars seemed much deeper against her pale flesh thanks to the lowly dimmed lights. Her soft voice slipped from her pink lips as she gestured silently towards the bartender to provide the male beside her a second drink.

"May I buy you a drink, a way of saying thanks for getting rid of them?"
