Yes, I do tend to make a mess on most kills. I don't aim for precise and clean. That's just not my style. I'm a trouble maker, a bringer of chaos. And I'm more of a spontaneous killer. When I feed, I actually try not to kill my victims. I pride myself on my control, so when I kill, it's usually out of emotion. Anger, bitterness, old memories haunting me, that sort of thing. I don't kill for no reason. That's the only reason I broke the hunter's neck. I have no emotional reason to kill him. I just killed him because it was a matter of survival. If I let him go, he would have come after me again and probably would have support next time. I couldn't risk it so I killed him. She tends to stand back more toward the wall and I watch her with intrigue. Why doesn't she come closer? Afraid she might like the smell of death? I have a feeling she's been cooped up in her club for far too long. Time to get out and breathe in some fresh air. Time to live a little. She looks at me with suspicion and I return her gaze with nothing short of amusement and patience, waiting for her to make her decision. Will she go back to her safe cozy life at the club away from the shadows or will she finally embrace what she is and come into the moonlight? As I present the body to her, I almost expect her to turn away. Yes, the blood will turn cold soon enough and it pretty much loses its flavor after that but there's still time to taste the power only a hunter's blood can hold. After a few moments, she reaches out for the body and I keep my support on it while she clings to his clothes, slowly lowering her extended fangs to his neck. I can tell the moment she gets a taste because her eyes light up with new life and glisten like a newly made vampire's would. I know she can taste the power, the rawness of it. When she finally pulls away with a sigh, my lips hold a grin of triumph. I know she enjoyed it. I can tell. Her comment causes me to nod as I throw the mostly drained body over my shoulder. "It tastes even better when they're still kicking and screaming but I'll have to give you that pleasure another time." I give her a playful wink, watching her wipe the blood from her lips. At her question, I offer a light shrug. "I like to mix it up a little. You never know what you're going to get." I motion my head toward the body. "Guess I'll be going to dump this. See ya around, Ceara." Shooting her another smirk, I bend my upper half in a complimentary bow, even with a corpse on my shoulder, dipping my head as only a gentleman would. As I straighten up, I turn on my heels and disappear into the shadows. Hopefully we'll meet again. I'm pretty sure I left an impression. |
