Actions always speak louder than words. It wasn't like her to talk or at least explain her thoughts aloud for someone else's benefit. She was content with staying quiet. Though if she wanted to keep her thoughts or opinions herself, perhaps she should keep her actions under check. Had she known that was how Nadya had made her rightful assumption then she would have changed her methods. Cooking a meal was one way to show kindness to both Nadya and Tobias, but perhaps she could have not defended his inability to understand what was going on that night. Really she should be careful. There was a tight line she was walking on and everything inside her mind was telling her to stop, but it was such an impossible thing when she wasn't the only one walking along it. Over and over again Tobias continued forcing his presence on her. Each time he came around her, day or night, all he wanted was to spend time. It could be playing an innocent game in the park or woods. Every now and then he'd ask her to take him somewhere to eat lunch, why he wished to go inside a restaurant she did not know, but he always did have a fun time...even if it turned into a disaster. At night he would demand her to sleep at his side or wake her up in her own bed and not leave her alone until she was curled up on his hammock at his side. Saying no to him just made it worse and so she gave in, if only to make him happy, and really he did have a charming smile. Clever spotted feline knew she'd do what he asked without the knowledge that she would do so not because he would demand it from her, but simply because she didn't mind to do so. It was Nadya's words that caused the female lupine to lift her head some, the logical side of her thoughts affirming what she had always known. Nimble fingers began to twist nervously around one another as her head tilted low murmuring softly.
"I'm stepping over some lines...aren't I?"
There was no need for any heterography to tell her otherwise. Of course she was, but in no way was she attempting to get herself within a pack of felines. Already she was ostracized by her own pack. In her mind she did not think she would ever belong to another and so she never bothered to try. She knew her place. Though really Nadya shouldn't be so concerned with his activity with her. If anything Raven did her best to keep him out of trouble as best as she could. Though if Nadya wanted to know why Tobias would spend a lot of time with her, or if she was still worried then it would be best to go directly to the source. For now though Raven moved away to retrieve the blouse before coming back to find Nadya already with a handful of garments. It was when Alexis came out did the curly haired woman cringe and flinch as the sharp squeal came out of the fox-girl. Always she hated getting attention. She was used to receiving much attention from her pack mates and it never turned out well for her. Pulling her curly locks from her eyes she would tilt up seeing a shocked and excited woman and she merely gave a shrug of her shoulders, but managed to throw her a friendly smile.
"Thanks. You look very nice too, and Nadya was right, you do have legs."
Hearing Nadya's comment caused the woman to look at the smug look upon her face. A shy smile was thrown her way before she turned it back to Alexis. It was when the feline placed words in Raven's mouth did the she-wolf cast her a wary look. She knew full well she didn't say such a thing, but she remained mum about it, only giving Alexis a slight nod in agreement. With the attention off her for a moment she walked towards the changing room, her cheeks pink. Thankful for the dressing room being a sort of sanctuary, she quietly threw on the pair of clothes she felt much more comfortable in. Hanging the long sleeved blouse back on the hanger, she would grab the skirt and other blouse, dropping the unwanted item on the rack near the dressing rooms. As soon as Alexis was ready to go she would head for the cashier, flinching and shrinking back slightly when she found out it was male. Dropping the items at the edge, unable to make small talk she would stand quietly waiting until their clothing was bagged up and ready to go, swiping the plastic card as fast as she could, typing in the numeral code, signing the electronic box and grabbing the bags, taking a step back before handing the one that belonged to Nadya. Grateful to not be so close she would head for the door, opening it for the two and letting it shut as soon as the last one was out. Giving Nadya a grin and nudging Alexis gently with her shoulder she would make her final statement before turning in the direction of home.
"Thank you for the help Nadya. Let one of us know when you are ready to do this again, and should you need a girl's night out in the woods, we're usually there and we would enjoy your company."
Sure she was offering Nadya a chance to have a 'girls night out' in the fur. It would take every single God to make her or Alexis go out for a girls night out in the town.
