Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

we all fall down like toy soldiers

"Jeez, watch what you're doing!" The words of the man in the back room send me into a bout of laughter as the glass shatters. It has me apologizing as soon as I walked in through the back door. I did stop to pick up the broken glass though. I didn't work here; in fact, I had no right to be walking through the employee entrance with a slice of pizza in hand. But I did. I had to see a man here about some business and he just happened to be working. And I was hungry, and I tend to do things my way instead of the proper way anyway.

I wander out from the back room, behind the bar, "Hey Aaron, you need a new transmission and it'll take me a few days to get the...upgrades you wanted." I say, still glancing down at the box of new glasses that had gotten shoved into my hands. The bar was half-full and I knew the man behind it would have heard what I said. He was helping a customer further down when a pretty brunette tried to wave him down. I obliged her words, setting down the box and wandering over to fill her order, "It's on the house." I say, grinning at that, I didn't even work here. It was then that I noticed Dav, a pretty face had distracted me, and we're all human after all. Right?

Instead of the usual for my brother, I set down a shot of tequila with a bit of flare. Tequila had been the bane of our existence once, the night I was arrested I think. I had walked out just in time to hear Dav's words about a dress and I could only grin at him. "You have to use what you've got to your advantage...and I definitely don't want to see you in a dress," I say, leaning a hip against the bar.

I hadn't gone home the night before, too caught up in working on Aaron's car and the fact that he wanted me to repaint it as well as rebuild the engine. The other boy fancied himself a street racer and as long as I got paid for it, I would do it. I seemed to be constantly dressed in a grey t-shirt that somehow always got engine grease on it, it's not like I went out of my way to get dirty, I did spend half of my time under a hood though.

I turn my attention back towards the brunette and lean in just a bit, "You don't want to mess with this one," I say, hooking a thumb towards my brother, "Total alcoholic, temper through the roof...now me on the other hand..." I pause, glancing at Dav with a grin. Just then, Aaron came bustling over, "Geez, Finn, get out from behind my bar, you look like hell." I gave him a mock salute and slid over to the other side, if only he knew that it was all his fault. I didn't say this though, instead I slid into the next free seat.
