The sharp edge within the young witches voice seemed to draw the blondes attention far more than any of the sarcasm that seemed to slither from the dark haired vampire whose days were entirely numbered were Azrael to have anything to do with it, golden eyes rapidly having noted the more noteworthy features of the leech, if only to make him easier to find later on. It would be curious, truly, to see how talkative he was with a stake in his chest. Fucking stupid creature. Where Serafina met these...beings he hardly knew, much less found he actually cared as the irritation within the slender witch seemed to grate against his own often prickly demeanour as she moved to bat his hand away from the Were, a snort offered by way of response.
"Did you ever consider that perhaps I know what I am doing? Unless your rock is going to stop her blood loss I suggest there might be other things more important to her then the state of a magical pebble."
It is harsher then he truly intends it to be, a direct response to her own tone as the belligerent Hunter merely moved to step away, ignoring the Anaconda entirely now, if only to stand and glower at the gathered group, continuing to force down his desire to stab the vast majority of them- if only to alleviate the utter need that existed within him to do so. It is fortunate perhaps that the gloves move to distract his attention, the blade appearing within his hand almost instantly, golden eyes focused upon the leather objects as if they truly do pose a threat- the magic radiating from them grating harshly against his own instincts as Sera attempted to stutter some sort of reply as to where she had gotten them and the deal she had achieved, the witches words silenced by the sarcastic leech once more. Azrael's patience for others is hardly his most redeeming factor, his ability to tolerate fools even less so, particularly when the said fool is little more then a reanimated corpse that spent the vast majority of its time acting as a parasite upon unsuspecting humans. Golden eyes narrow slightly before cutting towards Damon and the vampires evident attempts to rile him, hardly the first creature to find humour in Azrael's dedication to the destruction of any object or being he perceives to be even slightly magical regardless as to whether it is a legitimate threat or not.
"Maybe I should stab you a few times and see what happens, Leech."
The words were muttered through gritted teeth, little more then a hiss beneath his breath before his attention returned to the gloves- or the place they had been, the red-haired vampire having snatched them into her arms, holding them against herself in a manner that saw the youthful Hunter's features contort into a look of disgust. Why anyone would desire to be close to any sort of magical object he hardly knew, grip tightening upon the weapon within his hand all the same in preparation. After all, he has hardly survived this long by neglecting his own instincts, magical artefacts, in his experience- rarely ever ending particularly well. Had it not been for the sudden explosion of glass and furniture the blonde may well have been willing to actually agree with male vampire whom seemed as determined to be free of this gathering as much as he did himself, golden eyes lifting from the Leech and bloodied Were creature whom he had long since decided could be left to Sera's care- as unprofessional as it seemed, to flicker upwards and towards the suddenly catapulted furniture.
Whether it is simply Hunters Instincts or merely a manifestation of his own supernaturally enhanced speed can hardly be said, the Hunter pivoting suddenly in place to dodge a flying lamp that seemed determined to target the Were and Vampire who held her, another step seeing the man reach suddenly forward to grasp the scruff of the Werewolf, hauling her backwards and clear of the end table that seemed so determined to collide with her before his free hand moved so swiftly to grasp Sera's own, abruptly pulling the little witch against him as a thinly veiled shield of light moved to deflect the falling glass from them as the last of the furniture tumbled down. For several moments the Hunter merely remained where he stood, as if to assure himself the supernatural rampage was over before seeming to realise just how entirely close he was to both the witch and her spiteful little pet. Why he had moved to protect either of them he hardly knew, surprise seeming to register within the golden depth of his gaze, features twisted into a small frown at this predicament as he moved to step hastily back from the pair, gaze lingering upon Serafina's own.
"I didn't want to have to clean up a bloodied sidewalk."
The words are very near snapped at the girl, as if the clean-up from any potential injuries she may have received is the entire reason for his having shielded her and her dog from the debris, gaze flickering briefly back towards Damon as if truly hoping the vampire had been to busy dodging furniture to have noticed Azrael's defence of any individual in particular. He hardly cared for the girl, much less her pet, the two merely having been conveniently close enough to benefit from his own unique powers- or so he remains determined to assure himself, refusing entirely to acknowledge any deeper reason beyond that, finding himself agitated and frustrated at this entire scenario- both hands suddenly thrown skyward, words tossed towards the group at large.
"What the fucking hell was that?! Fucking stupid fucking magical shit. I'm standing over there!"
Golden locks tumble readily into his gaze as he moves to storm towards a bus shelter a few strides away, moving to lean against it, arms folded belligerently across his chest with an audible huff- leaving the group to deal with whatever magical entity they had awoken- gaze lingering a moment longer upon Serafina before jerking his eyes pointedly away to stare at nothing in particular- content to watch from a distance he finds acceptable, eyeing the furniture with wariness all the same.
