The youthful vampire slowly danced on the tips of her toes as she waited for her companion's response. Chizue was entirely dead set upon her self-imposed adventure, even if her attempts to assist the man in winning his beloved's heart were going to somehow entirely fall flat. She knew so little about their complicated relationship. After all, it wasn't her place to ask after it, it would be far to rude to even consider such a line of questioning. However, that didn't mean that she didn't still wish the best for the elder man - after all, such selfless genuine thoughts were far to engrained within the girl for even her most imposing of meals to entirely warp the dainty female. The topic of his auburn haired damsel always seemed to bring a mixture of emotions to his features - emotions that Chizue was not entirely oblivious to. It seemed that she alone could bring the brightest smile to his lips - as well as the deepest of frowns. Still, the young girl was pleased to discover her intuition was remotely within the ball park of an appropriate gift, even if she was, in a fashion, expressing perhaps her own interests. After all, she would love a first edition so surely someone as sweet and caring as Isolt would as well -right?

Chizue watched with a slowly diminishing simper as that crude scowl crossed his lips, quickly showing his distaste at her attempts to assist. Slowly, the girl's head tilted to the side as she begun to wonder if perhaps maybe she was already imposing too much - maybe she should have forgotten this avenue all together and simply disappeared into the night after the feast that he had insisted she indulge in. Maybe it would have been better. And yet, despite these wayward thoughts, Chizue was determined to leave that attempt of a warm smile upon her lips, listening acutely to every word he spoke for some fleeting notion to salvage her efforts. "Maybe...something Irish then? Like...Irish folklore or fairy tales?" She inquired, her chocolate gaze shifting slowly to the front of the book store. A small shrug crossed the girl's shoulders, "We could just...look? If nothing catches your eye - it's okay." Chizue offered him a small nodd, attempting to remain encouraging despite that defeated way in which he seemed to look at her.
