To say he didn't find the vampire man amusing would be a lie entirely, indeed some portion of him was surely grateful to the being for his willingness to afford him some clothing and yet that part of his being that felt any sense of debt to the man was significantly overshadowed by the more domineering aspects of his personality- Frost hardly ever given to bother with those he deemed unworthy of his time or attention and for a few more moments at least- Dareios seems to have ensnared his interest. It was hardly unusual to find a vampire out in the evening or upon the west side- to find one whom seemed to enjoy jogging and spraying himself with water was perhaps a little more upon the rare side of things and yet it is hardly the intricacies of Dareios demeanour that the equine finds himself attracted to. Dareios is intelligent, at least in certain errors, what parts of his thoughts the stallion is capable of capturing with his fledging ability indicating the other man was quite the astute being when it came to certain matters- though whether they were the right matters to intrigue the equine further remained to be seen.
He simply moved to stride forward, content enough when Dareios followed, the vampire at least sensible enough to take a warning when it was offered. It hardly goes unnoticed however, that the man makes no outward acknowledgement in regards to his reference of business- what exactly Dareios did for a living still illusive to him on some level and yet perhaps it hardly mattered for now as the pair strode silently a moment further down the street, the strange violet eyes of the snowy-haired man glancing briefly towards his companion on occasion, lip quirking briefly upward though what exactly he found amusing remained to be seen. His question in regards to gambling seems to catch the vampire off guard- if only slightly and yet, perhaps it is designed to do merely that. Frost quite content to play a game of sorts, one Dareios seems entirely oblivious too. His answer however, is indeed interesting. When the odds were right?
"Clever answer."
The words remain as cool and came as always, another moment of silence existing between the pair again, a buzz of thoughts touching his mind once more and yet in an area so highly residential it was difficult to pick apart Dareios' from anyone else's, resulting in little more than a buzzing blur that saw him scowl all the same in agitation. It would take longer then he cared to spend, truly, to finish mastering such a skill. Any practice however, was good practice he supposed. As for why he asked.
"I was curious, that's all- though I feel that conversation is for another time. You seem eager to get home and I have places to be. I'll explain the next time we meet, because I'm sure we will. Thanks for the clothing."
It is nothing short of bizarre in every regard, the stallion pivoting neatly upon his foot before turning suddenly away from the vampire to stroll further down the street and leave the man to his evening- at least for now, a simper of sorts teasing momentarily at his lips- unseen in the darkness though he is sure to make good upon his promise to meet again a little later. Indeed- there is more he wishes to know about Dareios.
