It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. You will always kneel.
At first he had thought that he had made the wrong decision. This creature before him was timid, a fact that was displeasing at first and yet now that he was beginning to see that fear could factor into his negotiations, well, Drago felt compelled. It was as if fate had set her there before him just for this. Such an easy target she made with her fluttering lashes and ingrained nervousness. A butterfly that didn't know quite how to spread her wings. He would take hooks and he would pin her wings wide - she would be the flag with which his entire empire would begin. The very idea made him wish to grin at her, the kind of grin fit for a wolf. What nefarious misdeeds could they get themselves into?
While Chiuze sat beneath his thrall he fancied that it wasn't simply fear keeping her in place. The way her dark eyes latched on to him, the way they drank in his presence with a need... she desired a purpose in life. Even if she did not know it, she craved it, and Drago was a master manipulator. A little chest beating to impress, a few smooth words, one or two feather light touches, all in an effort to charm her onto the dark side. They both knew she had no choice but it would fit him better if she felt compelled to serve him. Hooded eyes observe her, lips constantly twitching, a look of a satisfied predator in his eyes, all these things while she speaks. But... why? "Because I wish to rule and you wish to be ruled."
It was a simple, blunt statement. He did not coat it, he did not wrap it in glory, he merely spoke. They were a lost species in need of purpose other than HIDING. Hiding and feeding and dying. He would give them purpose even if he had to make them slaves. "I can teach you," he shrugs, his eyes slipping down suggestively across her body. Drago does not hide the exhilarated look that crosses his face when she speaks again, agreeing! "You will do more than try, you will succeed. I know it. I can see it in you. I know things, you realize." Ah, a lie, spun to give her the impression that he was some sort of oracle or seer. What was a lie in the conquest for his own dominion?
"You will come with me. I have set up a nice place where we can stay while we do our work. The rules are these, Yumi. You will obey me. You will not try to run. You will not like the consequences if you do," his eyes hardened, dark glass sparkling from his lids. "And no matter what I have you do, you will help me in this. In exchange you will have my protection, my leniency, and when my dreams come to fruition, you will have the highest spot that can be afforded to you." He does not ask her if she agrees - she has already agreed and he would not allow her to back out now. Soon... it would all begin soon.
