sebastian ellington
The Englishman's attention was perhaps entirely upon Isolt and the bewitching Ceara at his side, his hand gingerly resting upon the small of her back in perhaps a small display of his familiarity with the woman. In truth, his own experience with her had been particularly short lived and yet, somehow, out of all the members present it was she that put him most at ease. There was a connection, he was entirely sure, to those such as them - those who had experienced the young Anna-Marie's games and so abhorred them. Perhaps that made them different than what they were supposed to be and yet, it was those steadfast morals that made them slightly human. Despite the way his attention lingered upon the female, he was hardly oblivious to the rest of the party, his indigo hued gaze glancing over both Isolt and the strange man at her side. Sebastian hardly hesitated to reach his own hand out to Damon, clasping it briefly with a firmness and confidence that budded entirely from his time within the English court. His gaze fluttered towards the woman at the side of this Damon, a warm smirk easily drifting upon his features at the sheer notion that he cleaned up nice.
It was an amusing prospect to him, to say the least. After all, his own history was bound entirely to Queen Victoria and the fanciful garments that had so existed within that era. Something as this was once his normal, daily garb. The simple familiarity of it all afforded him a kind of comfort in some fashion. "I will take the compliment." The vampire responded, entirely ignoring the aspect that she might have seen his efforts to fit in what this modern era's clothing as not appropriately sharp within it's own right. Still, he presented Ceara with that same unwavering smile, his head bobbing once again as he commented in return. "I am glad you have noticed." The vampire hardly reacted to the way in which Ceara stepped further into him beyond providing the woman the entirety of his attention. His voice dropped to a softer tone, one that was clearly intended for Ceara alone. "I did, I will discuss it with you after this? I'm afraid it clearly wasn't as fruitful as I had hoped." It was the sad truth of things, though Sebastian had realized from the beginning that his desires were likely entirely in vain anyways. In a way, that made the disappointment only slightly easier.
His gaze only briefly turned towards the young vampire who had so created him only once her companion had left their small gathering. There was no denying that he had taken particular displeasure about being forced to play the child's games in order to see them both fed during the time he had taken her away. Landing back within this city had been a relief in more ways than one. Those two weeks had certainly helped to assist with his own rigidness towards her - his efforts to help her had, after all, only resulted in further deaths. Her inquiry brought the smallest of shrug to his shoulders the man replying simply, "I had business to attend to after my absence. If you should think of a new game besides that chase one you're so fond of, then perhaps I will join you in it." It was, perhaps, a challenge for the young girl to see that which she was capable of. His gaze rose ever so slightly as the strange woman once again rejoined the group. A small frown traced the man's features as his maker tugged upon the woman's sleeve. His head nodded ever so slightly towards her as way of greeting and yet, the man's eyebrows furrowed at even the sheer suggestion that he would live with the pair of them. His cleared his throat, his gaze turning back towards Isolt and the man at her side as he responded in an all too clipped tone. "No, thank you." After all, although he had recently purchased a home entirely for the intent of one particular fae, Sebastian hardly felt a need to disclose that information to Anna-Marie. He hardly wished for the young woman to drop by if only because of the danger it might place Dorian within. The sheer thought of his maker forcing him to murder the man whom he had begun to develop such feelings for was altogether haunting.
A small shrug once again crossed Sebastian's shoulders at the notion of calling Ceara's dolls, so to speak. He knew well of the blood that Isolt held within the bar area and too of it's taste. It alone was entirely satisfactory to him and so he saw no reason to contribute at all to the notion of food. In truth, Sebastian had hardly anticipated that their new Supreme might cater to their needs for food and so it affected Sebastian himself particularly little on way or the other. Still, all eyes, it would seem, rested entirely upon Isolt herself. Funny how the prospect of blood so managed to gather their attention.
