In truth, the young fox was hardly concerned with the blonde that stood beside her. Not once had Edie ever been particularly concerned with what the poor palooka of a girl was doing. And yet, despite that, she couldn't deny that she was still here and looking at the girl who spoke to her so firmly. The Beta girl merely eyed her as though she was prey, ready to search out for any weakness the woman might of displayed and how Edie could manipulate that to her advantage. It was unusual for Edie to look away from the man that she was eying, and yet here she was staring at the woman in a clearly confused manner. Why did she care? She didn't care. She was merely toying with whatever she could get her hands on tonight.
"I doubt you'd know a good pickup line, luv," The English girl spoke, rolling her eyes as she continued to sip at the potent drink that she'd ordered. It wouldn't take many of these to have the Were girl stumbling on her feet, and yet that was half the appeal for Edie now, wasn't it? She glanced back to the blonde as she continued to speak and tear her attention away from the cute boy on the dance floor. "I tend to look at things that are cute, which is why you'll notice I wasn't looking at you until you so rudely interrupted me."
The Were girl had just finished the drink she'd ordered and placed it on the bar as the woman forced a beer into her hand. She eyed it warily, especially as the woman spoke. "You'll find I'm not the sweet type. Nor am I interested in women," She commented dryly. "There's a gay bar down the road love, if you need that. You won't find that type of companionship with me." She chuckled, lifting the beer to her lips and taking a long drink of the foul tasting liquid. She'd never been much of a beer drinker, and yet even Edie wouldn't pass up a free drink.
"I suppose though, love, I can let you continue to buy me drinks. Though you'll have to get me something better than this if you want my attention." She grinned over at the blonde as though it were a challenge. "Though I wouldn't blame you if that idea scares you." It was a challenge, and yet Edie remained entirely unsure of why she was offering it in the first place.
