Nadya Tetradore
First impressions were always what stuck with Nadya the most. As she stood outside the selected store watching Scarlett approach she could tell the canine would be an easy one. The pairs styles were certainly different but Scarlett was well put together at least. It was a far cry from the hole jeans and oversized sweatshirts that Nadya practically, no, literally, destroy for Sam to wear something else. Nadya smiled softly as she led the blonde into the store, politely dismissing the woman at the counter and moving to the back with practiced ease.
Nadya stood back, offering Scarlett her help if needed. Her usual tactic was to begin immediately pulling clothes off the rack and shoving them into the hands of whoever she was shopping for. This time she decided to sit back and see what Scarlett would do; perhaps she'd surprise Nadya and have more of a sense than she thought. Scarlett's admission though let Nadya know her help would actually need to be more involved. She offered the girl another soft smile, "Well, the easy thing to do if you're having trouble with matching tops with bottoms is to just go for a dress. Also, black goes with everything so it will be your friend at first until you get the hand of it." Nadya stepped forward to indicate one of the dresses hanging on the wall, a slim fitting one shoulder bodice that reached just past mid thigh with black lace overlay and down one arm. "You have fair features so can wear almost anything. Just stay away from yellow...no one looks good in yellow." Nadya wrinkled her nose as she plucked the dress off the wall with one hand and handed it to Scarlett.
"You can wear skirts as long as they don't show anything when you bend over. You can wear halter tops and even jeans if they aren't ripped or worn. Pretty much, you can show skin but it has to be classy. My burlesque is not a strip joint. The point is to be alluring but leave things to the imagination at the end of the night. Be available while also being unavailable. Does that make sense?" It was a point that Nadya made clear with all of her staff and one that kept the business a respectable and reputable place. "As for shoes," She glanced down at the woman's current footwear. "you're going to have to get used to wearing high-heels. Heels will give you height and accentuate your legs. Again, black is your friend for now. You can walk in high-heels right?" Nadya motioned for Scarlett to follow her over to the fitting room as she plucked a few things from the racks as they went and handed them over to Scarlett to hold.
"Go ahead and try those on and see which ones you like best." Nadya nodded her head for Scarlett to head into the dressing room as she stood just outside to wait with her coffee gripped between her hands for the warmth. "You'll have to get some jewelry to add, necklaces and earrings which really pulls an outfit together. I'm guessing you'll need that as well?" She idly questioned the woman while she was trying on the clothes. "Before, you said you never knew who turned you and never been a part of a pack or know too much about the supernatural world. I could teach you....if you wanted that is. Since you plan on sticking around I could show you around the city." Scarlett didn't have to be a part of a pack to learn about the supernaturals that wandered the city and Nadya was more than willing to show the woman around. There were spots to avoid from hunters, and shops specific to species, and the best places to hunt or go partying.
