for the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey
her speech is smoother than oil
but in the end she is bitter as wormwood
sharp as a two-edged sword
her feet go down to death
her steps follow the path to Sheol

- PROVERBS 5:3-5;;
Naively, the young witch had hoped he wasn't going to notice her, she'd hoped she'd be able to gather her things and leave the bar behind her with little more then the panic fluttering within her chest. Somewhere, between entertaining her guest and neatly stacking the deck of cards, Serafina had found that she'd lost the Dark Hunter. Unfortunately for her, Serafina hardly had to look far. An audible groan left the young woman's lips as she found herself seated across from the male. If everyone wasn't always out for her blood, she might have actually had the chance to take in his charmingly rugged features and fit figure. As it was, however, her exasperation quickly got the best of her youthful mind. "If I had a nickel for every time a dark hunter said that to me." She grumbled to herself although the fact of the matter was that really Serafina would have only had three nickels at best, and that was hardly enough to purchase anything note worthy. Of course, she hardly intended to let him know this and instead she returned that rouge grin with a sickeningly sweet simper of her own. Frankly, all manners seemed to somehow vanish from the young women the moment that her life was on the line.

Serafina was hardly surprised to discover that he knew just what he was, her stormy gaze trailing after his fingertips as he caressed her occult cards. "It's also a shame..." She started, leaning forward against the table with her elbow resting on the wood in front of her. "...that my drink is empty." She held up her cocktail glass, her eyebrow pitching ever so slightly as if she was unaffected by the realization that she was very much near her death...again. "You could at least be a gentleman and get a girl drunk before you kill her?" She inquired, trying to appeal to his masculinity rather then their obviously different opinions on their species. That said, she hardly expected him to actually oblige her in any fashion, the hunters rarely did. A soft sigh left her lips as she listened to his proposition, a small pout crossing her sweet heart lips. "If that's what you'd like, I'm not terribly in the position to argue am I?" Serafina inquired, reaching forward to lace her fingertips between his, her flesh only briefly brushing against him as she pulled the stack of cards out from under his grasp. "Your in for a disappointment though. My cards are not very interesting." Serafina know far too well what her past, present and soon to be future consisted of. At the very least, she'd maybe learn something she could use against the dark hunter to preserve her own life another day.

With deft fingers, the young woman shuffled the cards, placing the stack back upon the table before flawlessly spreading them out before them. "Pick three cards, any three cards, I apparently now have all evening." She stated dryly, her slate tinged gaze rising from her deck to stare unflinchingly in the face of her inevitable demise. Her whole life she'd been running from death and lately, Serafina found herself tired of running. If he wished to murder her with his crossbow, she'd embrace his arrow with open arms and little fear - and she damn well would look her best doing it.
