Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sterling new well of his once lover's effort to entirely avoid anything of the emotional kind whilst Sterling himself was perhaps the embodiment of exactly that. He knew that sex they'd once so readily engaged within so frequently was Henry's attempt to so show him his care for him and yet, for some reason or another, the warlock found himself hesitating to launch himself into that same relationship all over again. He wanted to take his time, to make sure they were both ready for this if only because of how much he desperately wanted this to work this time. He abhorred the idea of a life without Henry but he knew well the man was dealing with his own transitions in life and, as much as he hated to admit it, he harbored his own fears of being hurt should Henry fall into the same promiscuous routine with someone new....someone...more like himself now. Such concern, however, would never be voiced out loud to Henry, the man instead offering a warm simper as he so teased Henry about leaving his dismal flat in the low-income part of town for whatever ritzy home Henry would, eventually, procure for them.

His head tilted to the side as he watched Henry attempt to explain his own preference for a new home and the fresh start that meant for him. The words that left his lips, however, even though the man so struggled with such emotional topics, did little more then bring a warm smile to Sterling's features. "I love you Henry." He uttered softly, leaning forward to press his lips delicately against Henry's cheek. "I just need a little bit of time, I promise, you'll get your wish soon enough." He intended entirely to keep his word on that, the prospect of sharing his bed with Henry was perhaps just as tempting for the warlock as well. Nevertheless, he remained entirely steadfast in his decision, allowing his companion to pull away from him whilst collecting his plate and their other dishes. Sterling remained wholly attentive to his love, listening intently to those words that left his lips on the talk of Thursday. He could hardly help the way his cheeks once again turned a brush of pink at the further thought of their first date, much less the butterflies that so seemed to flutter in the pit of his stomach.

"I'd like that." He uttered softly, offering his...wait. "Henry?" He inquired suddenly, glancing up at the man suddenly. "Would it....be okay if....I still called you my boyfriend?" It was ridiculous really, the way voicing that thought made him so utterly nervous. Still, he knew he was pressing his luck to so be afforded that title whilst simultaneously requesting to take their relationship far slower than they had before. Regardless, he still found himself asking all the same.
