Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

the sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead

Tetradore was entirely unsurprised by the inquiries his sister fired at him, finding each one more difficult to answer then the one before it. How could he tell her about the life he'd lived up to this point? How could he tell her that he was forced to share a room with the woman responsible for their parents death? How could he tell her about the things he'd done under Risque's charge? Her remained silent for a moment, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly in thought, all the while ignoring the singsong voice of his best friend echoing the phrase he'd used for his sister for so very long. The strike on his well-toned chest hardly phased the man, only providing to make him even more aware of the answers she demanded. He was aware of the low growl within Tobias' throat as aware as he was of the glassy eyed look that his sibling provided him with. If there was anyone that was capable of melting his rough exterior, it was her, even if he never wanted to admit the effect she'd had on him, even when they were younger. He reached out to her, his fingers brushing across her cheek affectionately, clearly yearning in some manner to comfort her. "I know, I'm sorry Nadya. I couldn't....I want to but...I couldn't." He spoke softly, unsure that she would understand what he was trying so desperately to say.

Whatever comfort he wished to provide her, however, was quickly interrupted by Tobias' low warning of a scent upon the spring time wind, a scent that caused Tetradore to freeze, his emerald gaze darting upwards to his surroundings. "Shit." He muttered abruptly. He'd forgotten entirely of the company he'd been keeping - he'd forgotten of the men that would surely be coming down that pathway soon. His gaze shifted back towards the two in front of him, a frown marring his features. If he wanted to keep them safe , he knew that he had to avoid letting them be found for as long as possible. He doubted that they'd leave him, not now that they'd just found him. His head tilted upwards, quickly taking gauge of the position of the sun, he had a few hours before night fell and his mistress awoke. It was a few hours to placate them, a few hours to make them understand.

Tobias inquiry pulled him from his frantic thoughts, offering him just the out he needed. "Let's find some food, hm? We can go hunting like we used to." He offered, particularly avoiding any prospect of 'home'. He'd hoped the prospect of running through the forest would be enough to distract the young man. Tetradore turned on his heels, his stride clearly indicating that something was amiss as he quickly made the effort to lead the pair out of the neighborhood and as far from his mistress' prying eyes as he could. He'd already thought he'd lost them once, he couldn't bare the notion of actually loosing them again, much less whatever cruel games Risque would have in mind for the remnants of his family. His fingers reached up, attempting to undo the leather that the vampire so often seemed fond of placing him in. Much like Tobias, Tetradore had little care for the clothing he was so often placed within. She always seemed to have a wardrobe full of things no matter how often he carelessly discarded it. His jacket was haphazardly tossed upon the chain link fence in front of one of the houses, followed by one too tight shirt. If they shifted, he reasoned, they might have enough of a head start against his keepers to get away, at least, for now.
