Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was far harder than Vhalla had anticipated to allow herself to admit those feelings towards Tetradore. Not only had that blasted pink coloring crept up her cheeks her entire body felt flush with embarrassment. Making eye contact with the male behind her was entirely too hard. Vhal was not some teenager with her first crush but Tet... Tet made things quite difficult for her, there were multiple times she wished she had kept her mouth shut. As per her job, it was easy for her to be the liar and deceiver, yet no matter how hard she tried, the only words that escaped her lips in Tetradore's presence was only honesty.
Vhal noted the beginnings of a reply from Tet but she plowed through him to finish her explanation, fearful she would never finish if she stopped. Taking a deep breath, she could feel the short silence that stretched between, as if it were tangible and when Tet finally parted his lips to respond to her, she flinched at the sudden noise, albeit very slightly. His statement was straight forward and to the point in which case Vhalla simply blinked at him at the use of the word 'bitch'. Honestly, it was true. She had been a bitch to him and if she were being truthful with herself, Tet very well could have used many other words to describe her actions.
Though it was difficult to admit to herself, she swallowed the defensive words that so desired to rise to the surface. She was here to apologize and explain herself not cause more problems. Exhaling again, she wraps her arms around her, hugging herself as she waits for his criticism. Finally raising those blue eyes of hers up, she notes the way Tet's hand reaches up to massage the back of his neck. Still, the woman can't help but notice the corded muscle in his arm and she internally curses herself for allowing her thoughts to get away from her. His next words take her by surprise as she simply blinks at his new nickname for her. She was shocked to say the least.
Her surprise slowly turns to astonishment as he continues, her arms dropping to her side silently and her lips parting ever so slightly. Vhalla wasn't expecting Tet to be so honest with her, though he seemed a bit uncertain when he first started, he finished strongly and for a moment the assassin had no words. Instead, her lips continued to part and close multiple times, like a fish gasping for air, before she snapped her mouth shut, chewing on her bottom lip as to not say something she would regret later. Her eyes alighting at the possibility of what they could be has her choosing her words carefully. "I want him dead," she breathed quietly, just barely above a whisper, "Help me-," she's cut off mid-sentence by that insistent tug in her abdomen.
Slamming her mouth shut, her eyes turn pleading for a moment, as she looks up at Tet. She struggles to remain in place, her fists clenching at her sides until a quiet groan escapes her lips. "I have-," she swallows, her voice shaking slightly from the exertion of remaining in place, "I have to go, Tet. I'm so sorry," she turns those sad eyes on him once more, realizing this could be the very last time she saw him. She shouldn't have said those words out loud, Ivan knew. Ivan knew. Taking a stiff step forward, she quickly pushes pass Tet, dodging his outstretched hand as if he were going to grab her. Reaching the door quickly she grasps the handle and wrenches it open, pausing only long enough to take one more look at Tet, "Goodbye, Tetradore," a strangled noise escaping her throat as she exits the apartment, the door shutting quietly behind, as if it were some sort of finality.
