Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

DORIAN, you might have a few years on me

you were the answer to my dreams

That pen moved smoothly across that pad of paper positioned against his knee, that name added to the ever growing list of wedding invitees. Dorian had been after him for weeks now to see that list put together and finally, Sebastian had settled on the sofa of that living room to see to it. The sheer amount of names upon that list was almost baffling to him, the man certainly inviting more individuals than he ever would have if such a wedding was not largely the social event of the year. He had at least thirty-two pages of names and yet, he was certain he was still forgetting someone. A soft breath left his lips at that final name, his cell phone flopped over on his chest. He had gone through all of his contacts within his phone, much less contacted various caretakers of his estates and businesses to see if they had any names he had been missing. It was the sound of footsteps upstairs, however, that slowly drew his dark blue eyes towards the ceiling, a small frown settled upon his features. Dorian had been particularly busy the past few days, the ongoings in Catalonia had continued to escalate, requiring the King's attention and involvement. It was silly, really, how he missed his fiancé, even though Dorian still returned to their bed every evening and woke up at his side every morning.

A soft sigh left the vampire's lips, that pad of paper was easily tossed on the coffee table. Surely, his lover required some sort of break from that stress that he knew well had been resting heavily upon the Monarch's shoulders. He was being selfish, he knew it, but, he tried to reason with himself that it would only be for an hour or so and then he'd go back to being the good fiancé he was supposed to be. At the very least he could interrupt with a gift of sorts, not that he thought Dorian might deny him, to begin with. Sebastian rose from that position on the sofa, sliding that phone back into his pocket. The simple movement seemed to immediately catch the attention of that puppy that had, moments ago, been happily attempting to chew the fact off of his squirrel shaped toy. In moments, Sebastian was awarded a shadow of his own as both man and dog made their way towards the kitchen. It was truly rare for the vampire to step into that room, the man often leaving the preparation of that food and beverage to his servants. In fact, he quite insistently had to wave off Charles, even though the manservant was keen to linger nearby. Being in the kitchen, it seemed, was enough to concern the butler.

This, however, was one dish Sebastian was certain he was capable of making, even if it largely consisted of merely heating milk and melting chocolate. The vampire was quite purposeful in his crafting of that homemade hot chocolate, choosing to use the creamiest milk they had on hand and one of those chocolate bars they'd returned from France. The result was a dark, delicious smelling cocoa, the kind that surely rivaled the last one he'd given the King nearly a year prior upon that Ferris Wheel in London. He poured that cocoa into those coffee mugs, the sides were wiped down to ensure they were nothing short of perfection - at least, until Charles decided they required some sort of topping. They had been content to bicker over that missing element - from cinnamon sticks to marshmallows only to finally come to a compromise of sorts with the addition of whipped cream, small flakes of chocolate adored the top of it. That rich cocoa nearly looked as if it originated from a café itself rather than their own kitchen.

It was with distinct care that Sebastian took those two mugs in hand, the man careful not to shift the contents too much, even if it was distinctly difficult with that exuberant puppy attempting to trip him all the while. He paused before that office door, listening for a moment to ensure that he wasn't interrupting the fae King in some sort of meeting or call with the Spanish dignitaries. Gently, his knuckles rapped upon that door, waiting for some sort of response before the vampire stepped into that office. He could hardly help that warm simper that spread across his lips at the mere sight of Dorian. He placed a cup of hot cocoa before the King, his own mug followed suit soon after. "I thought you could use a little distraction.....and a treat." Sebastian commented softly, gesturing slightly towards that beverage. The vampire slowly made his way around that desk, leaning against it at the King's side before he leaned down, placing a single sweet kiss upon his lover's lips. God, how he adored the taste of that man! "How's Catalonia doing?" He inquired, even if, truly, it was hardly Catalonia he cared of at all in that moment.
